I am lead cheerleader for o linemen. Rams have a bunch of fair to bad players on the line. Whit is past his prime, Blythe is terrible, Hav is up & down, but RT are easy to fine, extending him to big contract was dumb, Corbet is a Cleveland reject, Boom & Allen are busts. The team needs a total overhaul. I expect a new starting Center from the 2nd rd, and I expect a future LT in the 3rd.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
watch him play, he is my favorite back in the draft.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
52. Ruiz, he drops, Rams pounce 57. T Lewis 84. Akeem DG 104. Niang 124. Duverny 199. Montez 234. Blakenshipby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Corbett couldn't make it on the Browns. The interior o line could use massive overhaul. My first choice is a C, but if Hunt is the real deal I have no issue with grabbing him...id prefer to do it in the 3rd though.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
im kinda hoping rams draft like this. Hold off on wr & rb to later....fortify lines early. a good plan.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Id go for O Line and Edge/LB in rd 2 and playmakers in rd 3. You can get Ruiz or Cushenberry in 2nd rd to start at C. You could get a guy like T Lewis to play LB/Edge immediately. Good RBs/WRs will be available in rd 3 like Akers, Doss, Duverny, Claypool, etc.... I think if we wait until mid rounds for o line, you end up just having more mediocre guys like we already have. our line stinks, and you can have all the playmakers in the world, but if you cannot open holes for rb or protect QB it means nothing. Im sorry but our O Line stinks. There is not an above average player on line. Whit is on downside of career, still serviceable but no longer very good. The rest are all JAGS at best. Corbett? You know he couldn't start on the desperate Browns right? Blythe isby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
there is room for another guy, but trading Cooks does not create a giant hole. The issue is Kupp & Woods contracts are about to end. Im uncertain about Woods. I would not be shocked if we took a wr at #52 or ignored the position until latter rounds..by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
sorry but Brady is toast. this team would do better with Winston at QB.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Cardinals just added best wr in NFL in Hopkins and their rookie QB is no longer a rookie. They also added a dangerous RB in Drake last year who excelled. Now they will likely add another stud with 8th pick in draft and they are clearly on the upswing. Seattle is just a better team. They have one of best qbs in the league. They are always good and expect nothing to change. SF just lost inby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm personally astounded by the strong reaction to log/uniform..who cares so much about this? Bizarre. Yeah, Rams screwed up with many contracts and extensions. Tavon, Havenstein, Gurley, Cooks, none of them were smart. But at least they realized mistakes and made the correct decision to take their lumps and dump Cooks and Gurley. Though I expect Gurley to bounce back with improved o line and ofby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the "writer" is only communicating what Obo thinks. And no, he is not a nutritionist, so has no idea. But if he listens to his body, ill assume he knows how to maximize his energy. id prefer he gets his protein from fish vs meat, but I'm just glad he is cleaning up his diet and hopeful we will see some dividends this year...finally.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Ive predicted 3 of the first 4. I think Rams like both Aiyuk and T Lewis a lot. I am hoping maybe Hennessey drops to 3rd rd? I don't want an Allen clone. I also like Moss at end of 3rd.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
not sure why. I think I just like his name.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
that one has sadly stuck with me. Ill try not to refer to it again :) It just serves as a valuable lesson. I imagine Snead has learned from that one.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Fisher & Snead admitted their mistake.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
the point is you are passing on players you actually like to gamble that one of them will be available later. Snead loves taking this gamble. I would just prefer staying put and taking that player. We have enough picks, unless someone blows you away with an offer that includes 2nd or 3rd rd picks, otherwise not worth dropping imho.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
when you trade down, the next thing you know you are drafting Isiah Pead. I prefer quality to quantity. Unless you are getting an extra 2nd or 3rd rd pick, I probably just take studs that drop.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I get that this article is trying to be realistic in who will be available, but feel they actually go too far in that regard. Every year players everyone is certain will be 1st rounders drop to the 2nd. That will again be the case. I feel the following could all be 3rd rounders: Ezra Cleveland, I Wilson, Uche, Weaver, Helaire, Okwara, Prince, Hunt, Hennessey, Akeem DG, & Madubuilke. so many bigger needs. particularly building a real o line to allow whatever rb to have somewhere to run.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
you still get a guy like Reagor, Shenault, Pittman or Hamler.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Rams will add a Center, WR, a RB and OLB that will all contribute. Those 2nd and 3rd rounders need to contribute asap.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he would be a welcome addition. he is a bad man, and not someone teams relish tackling. I don't think you can expect him to get cut, and would much prefer trading a 4th rd pick for him vs drafting a guy like Dobbins or Helaire in the 2nd. If you are a free wheelin trader, then don't get timid now.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
that won't happen. I think Cushenberry will be there at #57, but there is a chance Hennessey will be there in 3rd, and Biadisz in 3rd or 4th. If not, we move on...by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
