But holy crap Hekker clearly made that first down!by RamUK - Game Time Forum
After his good rookie year fell off a cliff and he resorted to blaming Fisher, I just thought he was a purulent school kid who wasn't quite as good as he thought he was. Seeing him interviewed these days and the work he puts in, I was clearly and utterly wrong. He was obviously super frustrated knowing how good things could be.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree with all you say in terms of improving. And like you I'm stunned Gurley has got even better! But that Oline has been blowing teams up and giving JG so much time. Jeez, even the ST have got better. I think the job McVay has done is actually better than people can even imagine. One example that will ne seen on this board, but I have never heard talked about in the national media iby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
What have the Romans ever done for us?by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm fairly sure there are 20+ teams in the NFL who if they player at the Rams would be super loud and remove the home field advantage. I don't think the question is why are we so badly supported, but what do we do about it? A certain stalwart of the Rams (and a guy whose posts I love as much as any!) sold his tickets yesterday for a princely sum. And who could blame him? However, if Packby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
That was a classic. We get money to allow us to go amazing things. Today was amazing. You'll not remember the $1600 in 30 years time if you didn't go. But you'll never forget it if you did. Just my philosophy on sport and life I guess.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Gruden is adopting the old school mentality of accumulating Draft picks, whereas McVay prefers to take proven players. Gruden's approach is the sexier for the fans because every Draft is like Christmas, but I think taking proven quality is wiser. We all love the Draft, but could we really have acquired the talent we have purely that way? I doubt it.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not sure how it all works, but I'd have thought that would be a huge draw, especially if the Rams beat the Packers and go in there 8-0by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
I think if McCarthy had a lesser QB he'd have been out of a job some while ago. Rodgers papers over a lot of cracks.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought you were telling us Cooper Kupp had been IRed. Don't do that again man.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Their attendances are bad enough now, but how long are people going to stick around that currently are going when almost every game is a road game and no matter how well the team is doing there's no atmosphere?by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Do they call less holding penalties now or has every great player had to deal with this through the years? Just curious.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
It's Sober October? If I can do it I'm damn sure a spirit can quit spirits (that joke wouldn't even have been funny in England where it would at least have made sense). Anywa good sir, Yes, yes and thrice yes to everything you said.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
But who needs logic! I *think* some rams fans just get twitchy about picking their team each week. I don't believe you can tempt fate at a conscious level, I think fate has bigger fish to fry. But even so I think that occasionally creeps in. On a logical level you're 100% right. But even so I'm still thinking, 'Oh no, this could be a banana skin!'by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
That's how a QB carries a team in his back!by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Very sad to see a man who gave so much back to his community and beyond pass on.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
When they carted him off I was wondering whether we'd have him back for the beginning of next season. I'd have taken that in a heartbeat. Even when he came back on I was still concerned. You just don't go from that level of pain to be okay anything this side of stubbing your toe.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
As he was 5 years ago. He looked slow to me last night. I'm not saying he's not sill good and I wouldn't want him on the Rams, but he's no playing at Pro Bowl level imho. Having said that you're probably right that we'd struggle to cover him even if he suited up in diving boots.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
It definitely *appears* that we could have made a mistake with this one, but I have no clue how well he is doing.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Hope I'm wrong because he's integral to this O.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
And only having a 25 games worth of HCing experience under his belt. He really need to sort that out it's a total disgrace.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
That started after Fishers last season and they read this board that they'd be thinking: 'Hm, I guess we must have a 3 game division lead and be two games ahead in the chase for home field advantage on the rest of the NFC after only 6 games' :couchby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Performance arrogance. Most high achievers have that about them. Big difference between social arrogance and performance arrogance. He's not an arrogant guy and he's a constant learner so I'm not remotely concerned, he'll learn from it.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Quite frankly I'm not sure I trust anything Dick Stockton says, but I'm sure he said that the Rams hadn't won a sub zero game since 1989???by RamUK - Game Time Forum
