You would be the FIRST one to tell us that fans talk themselves into what they want to believe after they have a little time. I never claimed to give something "scientific", and if you think online polls are "scientific", you don't know science. I gave you exactly what I claimed, exactly the way I found it. And as I said, we saw the instant reaction on this board.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

I just went to a Bills Forum - The Stadium Wall. First forum I looked at and had a thread at the top on the trade. Here are the first 18 comments in order with no cherry picking or skipping. Do they sound happy to you? And it continues on and on like that, but you all can read it for yourself: Can you put 18 happy comments together in a row like that from one of their forums? 1by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
We're off to Canyon Lake, about an hour and 45 minutes from home. A very underrated spot. Lunch at the marina restaurant, then a pleasant ride on the steamboat. Done it before but always fun! I'm still in love with my beautiful bride. And a bonus. She'll want to leave the lake and get back in time for the game just as much as I will. :)by Saguaro - Bucky's Pub
Concentration and wins contested throws. Does not let contact, hands in the face, or the near presence of second defenders distract him from catching the ball.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
Was what we saw last year the result of being a green rookie and other factors? Or is that what he is? I'm not concerned about his arm or his toughness. I'm concerned about his NFL savvy, and the quality and speed of his decision making. The NO game 1st half made me think he was starting to get it, and there would an upward trajectory. But it didn't continue. I doubt that all of our qby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
As for me, I'm an established player > draft pick guy all day long. Honestly, I couldn't believe a commentator saying that a 2nd round pick was too high a price to pay for Watkins. Really? I think the draft is so fun and news-making for these guys that they overvalue draft picks. On draft day, every player picked is going to succeed. In reality, it's a total crap shoot. Not only is Watkins a great acquisition in and of himself, but it means every receiver down the line is now going against a lesser defender, at least in man. Woods goes against the #2 corner, Kupp, the nickel. Everybody benefits.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

After years of you trying to defend Robinson picked over Watkins, and dissing on Watkins injury history???! You now love this and wonder where the Snead critics are? That is some great humor right there, my friend.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
then, just based on how many snaps there are in a game, it would seem that Mannion and Orlovsky will get far more snaps than Goff will. What sense does that make, unless your starter was nursing an injury or is such a well-versed veteran that he doesn't need a preseason? IMO, Goff needs as much work with his new receivers and new offense as he can get, before regular season and the w and l'sby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
when the Rams were giving Brady all he could handle in a preseason game? Game 3 of that PS, I think it was. The one that a lot of coaches want to use as a dress rehearsal. Brady and Beli were pizzed, and he left his whole starting offense in all the way through most of the 3rd Q until they started to get it right. I always thought JF devalued "getting it right" in the preseasoby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
IMO, it's past time to argue about Dak's advantages in Dallas at this point. Unless he crashes and burns ala RG3 (and I don't see that in his game), the whole NFL, even including Dallas, and a lot of other draft people underestimated Prescott. And that's ok. Thank goodness the NFL isn't boringly predictable. Our QB is Goff, and his success or failure is going to depend on him and on the nby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

I haven't done a statistical analysis, but just watching decades of football, it seems that the veteran NFL QB's have much better preseason stats than they do regular season stats. Typically they start the 1st Q of a preseason game, go 7 or 8 out 10, and get a TD, and they're done for the day. I'm talking about established starters. The defense hasn't game-planned for them, they are sometiby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

and do not like, is that AD is asking for a premium just to remain a Ram rather than go elsewhere. From what little has been reported, he could take the offer on the table now and be one of the highest paid non-QB's in the league. But he wants more. And some of that might be - "I am the incomparable AD. If I have to stay on a losing team and forgo playoffs and championships, I want moby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
but an awful lot of folks, including me, expected more from the Rams in the opener last year against the doggone 9ers. And I don't necessarily mean that they would automatically win, just that they would show up and compete. I hope McVay has that all over Fisher.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
You know there are no layups in the NFL. Even teams that have taken the lowly Rams for granted have found that out. McVay's head coaching debut. A brand new coach with lots of new parts. They're going to need to be hitting on most cylinders to start out right. I don't think Indy players and coaches are planning to lay down if Luck isn't available. (and not aimed at you at all LMU, I'm just using your post as an attachment point for my own), but it seems to me that for about a decade I've been seeing posts on this board about how big cap space is just around the corner for the Rams. About how smart the Rams are to front load their deals because even tho it makes the cap look tight in the present, wow! is it going open up for them next yeby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
that posters shouldn't be labeled as negative until they prove that they can't be positive even when times are good. The problem has been that times haven't been good for quite a while. I am so hoping that is finally coming to an end. Can't wait to see real Ram football in the McVay era. Some patience will still be required, I suspect. I'm willing.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
