Oh, what I would pay to see you try, 43! :clapby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

Funny thing is I can sometimes be more calm during the game, when I can see which way I think things are flowing. I liked the drive Goff and co. put together after the Barron interception to go up 9-7. Even when they started the 2nd half a little off again, I thought they were going to prevail and said so in the gametime forum. Right now the Vikes are just a big purple menace to me. First of all, it was slightly off chronologically. His interaction with former teammate Scarlett did not come right at the beginning of the game. But even so, I don't like my QB clowning around with the opponent when the Rams are struggling. Which they were at that point. I want all business at least until the game is in hand. And that should never be premature. He sounded like his ageby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
And like some of the other oldtimers, I have seen the Vikings leave something in our punchbowl too many times. I really think it's this last game that has me a bit spooked, despite the 33-7 final score. The Texans had no Watson, no bell cow at running back, and some important parts missing on their defense (Watts, etc). And yet, they were throttling the Rams in LA, until Savage threw thaby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
He was drafted #1 overall. Thus expected to be good. But looked terrible, instead. Riches to rags. And now "back" to riches again with his performance once again justifying his draft.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

I appreciate your thoughts on it. I'm still bullish on the Rams final record and making the playoffs, but something about "@Minn" just feels like a loss. I think they're much better off in a shootout at home against the Saints or the Eagles, than a road trip against a tough defense.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm trying to figure out for myself what it is. Here's what I've come up with. IMO, the best defenses we've faced so far are the Redskins, the Seahawks, the Jags, and the Texans. In the first three of those games, the Rams offense (and Goff) struggled pretty much all game long. Against Houston, they broke the Texan's back with some turnovers and that huge 94 yard play. to make the playoffs. There's so much competition in the NFC this year, and also because of who is on their schedule, almost any loss by the Rams is a win by one of the teams they are jockeying for position with.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

there's a testament to the quality of this coaching staff. An entire team of players improving and playing better than they have heretofore.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

5-2 finish?!! That...that...that would make the Rams 12-4 for the season! That would almost certainly win the division and get at least one home playoff game! For the Rams?? That would just blow past the Ram43 optimism at season start. Yes! I know, right! I did some back of envelope calculating the other day and came up with the same record. 12-4. Had to do it again, shaking mby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
I disdain some of the bad (lazy) writing I see on the Rams, but love stuff like this. Taking out the first 6 games in order to gauge which of the two is progressing faster. Veerryy Interesting. Can't wait to play the Eagles. Hope the Rams win, of course, but also hope Goff and Gurley outplay their counterparts, as they did in Dallas vs Prescott/Elliot.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess we just see it differently. I think they win against the Saints and the Eagles. Not scared of 'em. I respect them, but I don't think they're better than the Rams, so there's no reason to lose to them in LA. On the road against the Vikings, I could see maybe a loss, just due to a few calls going against them or whatever. Road stuff. On the road against the Seahawks, we oweby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

Beating both the Saints and the Eagles in LA is something that could happen, should happen, and would really help seal the playoff deal.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
Before the season, when I was trying to stay grounded, I argued that the Vegas oddsmakers don't get it wrong very often. And that if they had the Rams at 5.5 wins for the over/under, then that was probably the way to expect things to go. But McVay and the Rams have seized their own destiny. Go Rams, beat Vikings!by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams were favored in all but 2 games? Or were underdogs in all but 2 games? I remember during the offseason, someone posted early, early odds that had them underdogs in every single game. That changed before the season started, but I didn't think that dramatically.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
The official is given discretion to decide whether a player has taken a hit that requires him to be checked for a concussion. After RW took a helmet to the chin, the official sent him to the sidelines to go through a concussion protocol check.
