I've been posting good and bad, agree and disagree, optimistic and pessimistic, things re the Rams here for over a decade. Old timers here know that. You've resorted to a mischaracterization, but can't stop you and won't try. I hated the Greg Robinson pick and loved the Aaron Donald pick. I hated, hated, hated the Brian Quick pick. But I loved the Tavon Austin pick. Go back aby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
You should look at the trendline you just listed. And I didn't have a problem with what they did with the line in 2017 and 2018. No moaning and groaning then. But when the interior of the line got blown up in the Superbowl, that was a big problem. And that interior line strength and pass blocking has been a problem ever since. Did you not see all the posts this Spring saying "We gby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
They don't know me or anything I think, and wouldn't care if they did, so don't worry about how they're being treated. I do have a decades long fanship with the NFL in which I have NEVER seen anyone built like Tutu succeed. The odds aren't long, they're astronomical. So that's one thing. Second, I've read hints that they themselves may have intended to draft some oline but kept getting prby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
Or putting words in people's mouths. I have not used the word stupid about the Rams for a long time, probably not since Fisher. Actually not even then.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

But you gotta admit. Just saying "I trust the Rams" or "I trust McVay/Snead" isn't really an analysis or a new point of discussion. In fact, it sometimes seems like an overture to end the discussion. It's an attitude, not a point of view. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but I'm sure seeing a lot more of it lately when the Rams get questioned. It's a cousin of the logby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
Then they can shorten it up. Instead of "I Like Whatever The Rams Do." There's never any questioning. It's just whatever the Rams do is good.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
Everything I need to know about this I got from reading this board. The problem with the offense was Goff, not the oline or playcalls. Oline struggles were not a valid excuse. Ergo, the oline was fine then and is still fine. Stafford is way better than Goff and will make the oline, the receivers, and backs better as well. Ergo, the oline is already better than last year (when it was fineby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

(not to mention an arch-rival for decades). If you do it you better A be sure that you know who they're taking and be completely unconcerned about it...and B absolutely scalp the hell out of them in the trade. does he communicate (or not) with assistant coaches the way he communicated with Goff? And could that be part of why so many have chosen to depart? Dunno. Also, not to give Goff an excuse, but...having 5 QB coaches in 5 years just isn't good. Edit: Oops, now I read you in another post making that exact same point. I wasn't trying to copy you. :)by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
I appreciated reading what Franklin had to say about how the trade was handled. It let's me know that I and some others weren't just imagining things. I will be interested to see if Goff can take this experience and build off of it.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
Especially in a tight cap year where a lot of older vets may be available for free. IMO, he's been living off of playing next to AD for years. When on his own, he's not that productive. Time for him to step up in Detroit without Donald to draw everyone's attention.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com

Sometimes desperation is your only hope. As you know, no one gets lucky or unlucky in chess. You win or lose on the merit of your game. I won a tournament in high school but it was wild. A new kid had come to school and immediately dominated our chess world. Before then I had been numero uno. I played him a dozen times and I couldn't beat him. Just could not. should be focused on how they can be better with or without AD. And that's how he should have answered the question from TMZ, IMO. I assume the coaches are analyzing why they went from so good for most of the season to so bad in that game and are taking steps. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they're too busy being giddy.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
if you want to be satisfied with another playoff performance like that from the defense. I won't but we can disagree no harm no foul.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
You guys can't defend the problems that remain by dumping on Goff - he's gone now. He wasn't good enough and he's gone. But Brockers wasn't good enough and he's still here.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
I loved all those great teams that Chuck Knox put together in the 70's. Always excellent rankings. Some of my most beloved Ram heroes are from those years. I think there was one year they were both the #1 offense AND the #1 defense. Really fun... until they lost in the playoffs. I LOVED watching my Rams back then, but they always broke my heart when the chips were down. So what I peby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
Being the #1 defense is a mirage if you fall apart at playoff time. Since when did the standard become "just get it done in the regular season and that'll be good enough?" If your defense goes from excellent to poop because 1 player is hurt, that's not a solid unit. It's clearly dependent on one great player. It's brittle. Allowing 5 straight scores to start the game is what puby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
the defense better take a step up, if they want any shot at anything. With Aaron Donald nursing his ribs, the rest of them took a giant dump. That won't get it no matter who the QB is, Brockers.by Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
You said "That said, we don’t live in an ideal or a static world so some variables may change. The defense may get worse. But that would have nothing to do with Stafford or Goff." If they had made a straight up trade Goff for Stafford, I would agree with that. But because the Rams had to throw in multiple 1st round picks and more to get the deal, then everything else that happens wiby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
I think McVay is pretty secure. Stan's not going to fire him anytime soon, whether this works or not. I think he's motivated by a desire to win, not to avoid the axe. Heck, if he was fired he'd have a job again in about 5 seconds! Yeah, football is a team game for sure. I just see a lot of posts saying how MUCH better Stafford is than Goff. Light years better. No comparison. No trainiby Saguaro - RamsFootballFans.com
The saying is "The perfect is the enemy of the good". And what it expresses is that the pursuit of a perfect which may never be obtained can result in the discarding or the wasting of the good. You turned that on it's head. Which may be apropos to the situation. Have the Rams paid a big price trying to replace the good with the perfect?
