R Woods had "Bobby Trees" which I kinda liked, actually. (It even got a CKupp endorsement via inclusion in his touching farewell-tribute letter.) But Bobby "To Catch a Thief"... eh, no bueno. How about "Bobby Thump"?by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
Announce he's retiring unless dealt to the 49ers. He's already set for life financially (outside of an outlandishly oppulent lifestyle --which doesn't seem like Goff). The Lions would have no choice, and the 49ers would love him. Hell, Montana might even allow his playing as #16. ...that's putting an automatic 5 yd penalty in the offense's pocket any time they want it. Simply change the routine in the huddle.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
When I heard about his QB experience, then saw him throw a halfback pass in YTube highlights, I was thinking McVay should give him a passing option At Least] once per game. It's so insanely disruptive and puts a defense on its back feet. I'm not usually such a trick play advocate, but this guy can really sling it.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com

...thanking Roman Gabriel for borrowing his #18. For those of us who discovered the Rams in the late 60s, 18 will always be Gabe's number. Though Kupp borrowing it certainly added a nice new sparkle. Sure hope Kupp retires as a Ram... many, many years from now.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com

It seems to me, when his number has been called to blitz, he's been effective. And that kinda make sense, given how deadly he's been as a special teams kick/punt blocker. Wasn't he leading the league in blocks over the last few years? You've gotta figure he's the one guy the Rams opponents were always tracking in punt/field goal situations; yet he was still able to slip through the O-Line whenby SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
I say three cheers for Gurley being older and wiser and not doing a move that was always kinda stupid and dangerous, but forgivable because it showed youthful enthusiasm. If the Rams sort out their O-Line for next year, you can bank on the huzzahs at Gurley's amazing resurgance.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
...since, I believe, you've been skeptical of him. Personally, I've always thought he was a player --just under-utilized. He's a helluva good blocker and team player, IMHO. That re-signing of him, which so many thought a head-scratcher, is gonna start looking like money in the bank.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure we'll make it into the playoffs... fingers crossed... If our Rams do make it into the post season, I sincerely doubt there's any teams thinking "Yeah, we wanna draw the Rams".by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com

You're a class act, Saints Alive. I've seen you check in yearly... forever, and always been respectful and never throwing around the typical "mine's bigger than your's BS". As far as I'm concerned, you're always welcome here at the Herd. And best luck for the rest of the season... don't count Brees out... he's a class act too.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
I keep reading things like this about him, and I'll acknowledge he's got great "potential"; but then I see him drop an easy catch (or two) vs Dallas. I don't track things like this closely because he's a fringe player. But the impression I have is he wows in practice and then drops easy catches in games. OTOH, KhaDarel Hodge seems to catch everything thrown his way. At this point, gby SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
Gee, he probably passes with his left then. Wouldn't that be interesting?by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
Really enjoy those post-game celebrations.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
Higbee doesn't get much love on this board, but I think if the Rams/McVay decide to develop him, he can become an important piece of offense. He's already very important and underappreciated in the running game; but if McVary designs more plays for him as a passing target I think he'll perform very well. He's got good size, good hands, and fights for extra yardage. Just IMHO, he's a player.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com

And yet they just beat the best running team in the league... :clapby SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
I love Kupp as much as anybody. But the Rams can play with any team in the NFL even without Kupp. If Wade gets the Defense to step up --which they've got the talent for-- the Rams can handle any team.by SalsaRama - RamsFootballFans.com
