Jaws complained that since his face didn’t look good on a cereal box, he never got a chance in LA. Haden had no business being a legit starting QB, but he did look good on a wheaties box. That Rams brain trust was big on looks. It’s amazing they gave Harris a shot. But he was always looking over his shoulder, never comfortable as the starter. Namath was a statue in 1977. Kelce has no self-control. The guy appears to be a narcissist with anger issues. Good luck Taylor.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
What are the odds that Mahomes only gets one TD in the game? I think you're really bucking the odds that you can hold him out of the endzone so many times. He's too good. So basically when you go first you'd better get a TD or there is huge pressure on your D, and they had to be worn out in the OT, plus they were hurt. I think the better strategy is to go let KC go first and hope they settlby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteden-the-coach His answer to taking the ball first was that he wanted to get the ball back again. Well, Kyle, if the Chiefs had kicked a FG the game would have kept going the Super Bowl would not end in a tie. Seems some people had trouble understanding that it was a new game, if both teams posssed the ball and the score was still tied, they would keep going until they had a winner. I’d rather have two 2nd rounders than one late first rounder. I don’t believe that the trade table is right anymore.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
At least some posters are happy to see the Niners get all the accolades over the next 2 weeks. You can’t make this stuff up.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
He just squandered points. Gave the momentum away. You’re not supposed to lose playoff games up 24-7 at half. Usually,it leads to a depressed team for a while. Goff played well enough to win. His receivers and HC let him down.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes. He carried the offense during the regular season. Plus he’s got a great D. But I see a guy who chokes on the big stage for years now. Nice guy, great athlete, tries hard, but he chokes.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
He’s 2-4 in the playoffs. Another example of a guy who makes highlight film plays and then chokes when the big games comes. But yeah, the KC D is excellent this year. Add Mahomes and Kelce who are both healthy now and they’re virtually unbeatable.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's start with the obvious difference. Ben Johnson is not in Goff's ear telling him exactly what to do right up until the snap like McVay did. McVay was a puppeteer, guiding Goff's every move. Goff often locked up when he was left on his own under McVay. That is not the case in Detroit. This whole thing about Goff being the same guy as he was in LA is a bunch of baloney. If the game is close and Goff needs to make a play at the end of the game, Goff has what it takes to make it. Goff has always shown that trait. Many more physically talented QBs don’t have it. And here’s what I don’t get. Goff was the first pick by the Rams upon their glorious return to LA. He took the Rams to their first SB appearance since the GSOT days. Goff’s strengths aren’t the in your face attributes that the common fan can easily digest. It requires a subtle knowledge of the game to truly grasp Goff’s strengths. But any duffer can see his weaknesses. It’s much easier to appreciate the Beatles and Stones than Mozart and Beethoven.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
I’ve been saying it for months, I see a much improved Goff this year. I said it months ago, he’s not the same guy, it should have been apparent to anyone who doesn’t have a closed mind who can only think about what Goff looked like under McVay when he lost patience with Goff and threw him under the bus for that joke of a QB Wolford. Goff reads the blitz so much better than he did under McVay.by max - RamsFootballFans.com

The Lions will bring it for Purdy. And Purdy is nowhere near as tough as Stafford or Baker. This Lions D is nasty physical, Purdy will get hit, and hit hard.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM but I'd bet the farm damn few of you live around as many Niner fans as 21Dog, Ferragamo, and me..... and what you were told is dead on true. No Niner fan would ever, under any circumstances, root for the Rams. And they are WELL aware their hatred of us is not returned in full by Ram fans. My word the gloating. - JamesJM Yup. I just told my son in law, a Niners fan, that there are some Rams fans rooting for the Niners next week. He laughed and said Niners fans always knew that there is nothing dumber than a Rams fan. Yup. Those are always head scratchers. Hes tries to do more than he is physically capable of doing. But for the most part the Lions have Goff playing to his strengths and keep him away from his weaknesses. And that’s enough to win a SB, with a great supporting cast. I think the Lions tightened up when the Rams made the game close. They’ve been losers for so long, and there was a ton of prby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Purdy. Purdy reminds me of Pat Haden. Maybe a bit taller, but essentially the same guy. Good head for the game, can make accurate throws when conditions are perfect, but he’s small framed, weak arm, and not fast, but mobile. Guys like that usually get exposed in the playoffs. Goff is better than Purdy. Much better arm talent and much taller to see over his OL. And Goff haters are right toby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Ha. Did not know that. Goff is better than Purdy. I like the Lions to beat Niners. The key discriminator is QB.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
But he’s not the special talent the media makes him out to be. He should have had 2 picks, which would have lost the game. His shortcomings are size, and arm talent. He can move around in the pocket, but he’s not fast. Actually, he reminds me of Pat Haden. He may be a little taller.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
The Lions have the best shot at beating the Niners in the NFC. I have no problem with the Lions playing dirty against the Niners. I'm totally fine with them biting off Niner knee caps or whatever their coach likes to do. So I'm rooting for the Lions to win this week and then turn their headhunters loose on SF.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
