When I was in the Army there were several army camps in and around Stuttgart. I assume the main base is still open, it must be if they have a football team. I had several friends stationed there, I was in Heidelberg, and used to visit quite often but for the life of me I can't recall the camp names. My base, Heidelberg, closed down several years ago.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
among the Niner fans friends I know.. and as you know that's no small number living in Niner country like I do... I don't know a single one of them unconvinced that Lance should take the helm. They are NOT happy with JG... haven't been for some time now.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
a QB controversy in SF that is... and I think it more than a little likely... I'm going to ice down a case of Guiness, stock up on chips and guacamole, get my comfy lawn chair and take up a seat somewhere among all my Niner fan friends and kick back to enjoy the show. Seen it before.... Niner fans in a QB Controversy, and I highly recommend it if you get the opportunity. In fact... on a scby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
My grandson Nico's team in England. Lakenheath is a USAF base in England. Every team they play this year, starting Sept 2nd, is in Germany... Ramstein, Vilseck, Wiesbaden, and Stuttgart; all USA Military bases. Lancer's have some major travel time. Two days one way by bus to a couple of those German cities, a full day by bus to the other two. And the NFL worries about a travel time of 4 houby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
It all began back in 2013.... In the center photo is Mason, my oldest grandson, standing with my grandson Ashton, (the ballboy), for the national anthem. On the left my grandson Gavin standing with my youngest grandson, Elijah, (ballboy) And on the right Ashton standing with Elijah (ballboy). nobody, schoolmates - parents - coaches - even teachers, knows Elijah as "Elijah"... the know him as "Moose". Not sure how he got that nickname but he got it a long time ago. In the video above you'll hear him announced as "Elijah" but that's because it's an away game and the announcer doesn't know him... in Kerman - at home games the announcer will announce,by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
This is my youngest grandson, Elijah #8. He's on the Jr. team which, I think, are 11 and 12yr olds? He's got one more year of youth football until he's a freshman in HS. Had a great game but admittedly we had a weak opponent... so congrats to the coaches for pulling nearly all the starters early in the 3rd Qtr with us up 28 - 0. Only scored once after pulling the starters so a lot of kidsby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
most of you who post about this are pretty sure of your opinions... Pro Perkins or Pro Wolf.... and both list pros and cons that I agree with.. Perkins I think does have a better ability to extend plays - while granting that I think people have forgotten that Wolf ain't that bad at it either. Wold probably has the better arm. I'm not "gotta keep" either... but I am quite concerneby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
And those I have seen are mostly bands known for their music and well as their vocals and not individual vocalists. My experience is different than yours - I am usually quite impressed by how good they still are - NOT what they used to be but still quite good. And although not being quite as good - - my respect and memory fills in the gap... I enjoy it. Singers now in their elder years I haby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
would have to come to the game to get to 10k. :laughing Not sure what the big teams in Fresno pull in attendance but I very much doubt it's anywhere near 10k. I doubt any of those HS's in Calif that vie for the national championship every year reach 10k per game. Very different than Texas. Waterfield might know... some big HS's down in his area. When I was younger I could sing pretty well... nothing great, by any means, but I could carry a tune. Now older I've lost that ability... I can still carry a tune but my range is probably 60% of what it once was. And I've never had a really 'pleasing' singing voice... I could fake it, still can to some extent, but for the most part I prefer staying off the mic. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
As I posted... somehow we got some of the top teams in the valley on our schedule this year. That's never happened before. Score could get ugly... BUT... that could help us, "maybe"... because... They use a rating system here now that's total BS BUT... we'll get points simply because of our schedule, even in a loss. Not a huge heavy rock/metal fan like you... but I "DO" love it... and I've heard you say this :laughing - I think a case can be made that your era of music was the last great era in music. Last night at our football game EVERY song they played on the PA, (and they played many), was from the 80's and early 90's. And for good reason.. it's perfect 'pump up the crowd' music. Central Ca. has a 'Player of the Week' award every week... entirely a popularity contest BUT... they do post the players stats so you can vote on them. Both O and D... And what completely astounds me are the stats... off the charts phenomenal. For example: Last week a QB from a HS near here had 7TD passes and I think he threw for something like 475yds. Every week it's the same... some HS sby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
We're 2-0. Another late 4th Qtr TD for the win. These last second wins are hard on this old man. :laughing Ashton had 3 TD's. This is the final one for the win. That's ex-Seahawk McCoy Ashton's doing that body bump thing with after the TD.... the guy knows how to fire these kids up. Still can't believe our schedule this year... got a winnable game, (I think), next week thenby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Astoria is gorgeous. No doubt about it. The weather? Well, for some it's fine...not me. My son lived in Florence, Oregon for a few years. Gorgeous as well.... but constant wind and very frequent rain. :laughing I know people even more specific than you. Since I like all genre's I can ride in a car and listen to music with them and be fine with it... ummmm, for the most part. There were a lot of genre's of music I paid little attention to in years past. Today... I explore them, and I'm always discovering 'new' something 'old' that I love. BUT... I am very fortunate when it comes to music... my taste in music encompasses every genre of music in existence. Sure, some more than others, much more in some cases. Drummer for Buddy Holly's band has passed. I didn't know any of the members were still alive. I posted about this recently... So many musicians, actors, etc that accomplished legendary work are still with us but have faded from sight. although I don't want this to digress, IMHO, into that being the only consideration, or that that's Kupp's only great attribute. Never the less... Yeah, me too. Geez, I thought I was the only one. I would venture to say that for NFL QB's that would be the most requested talent a WR possesses.
