That we're not prepared to let him fail in proportion to his experience. He's gonna take his lumps. He's going to make mistakes. He's gonna be a rookie. Be prepared to let the growth process run its course.by HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com
a no-offensive battle? Sure glad I didn't spend three hours watching that. I'm old. I can't do it. I can't. I won't.by HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com

I've got my agent working on my next team. The fact that he has not even entered into the conversation would be very telling for me. Time for me to pack my bags and move on.by HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com
Not many other teams would have tolerated what we've seen nearly as long as the Rams have. I'm still not convinced that he's as close to being fired as many seem to hope that he is. But when you've moved a team into a new city and you've got the fanbase booing their own team in half a season, I can't see much good coming of it.by HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm not usually quick to wish for the coach's head, but I think I'm ready. Fisher's done all he is capable of doing. Seeing the mistakes that this team makes week in and week out suggests to me that Fisher simply doesn't demand enough of his players. There just isn't enough accountability. I can't complain about the defense. Seems Williams does demand something of his guys. But Boras doesn'by HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com
assuming that Goff will not get his shot anytime soon (which might be, might not be), to deactivate Keenum and give Mannion his opportunity until Goff is ready? Not really sure what harm that could do.by HighPlainsDrifter - Game Time Forum
And the Rams have, well, Keenum.by HighPlainsDrifter - Game Time Forum
I think it's at least reasonable to make that assertion based on the fact that Fisher stated that Goff starting week one was the goal. Maybe that was just draft talk. Maybe. But when the coach says that, I think it's reasonable to believe that the Rams thought Goff would be far enough along to play early.by HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com

The Rams don't have a 1st or 3rd round pick in the upcoming draft. I doubt that they use their 2nd rounder on an OT.by HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com

OK, I know this isn't a revolutionary concept. It's a headline that might invoke more eye rolls than clicks. I get it. But I look around the league and see some of the other franchises. I watched Pittsburgh and New England yesterday and saw a lot of football played the way I wish it was being played in Los Angeles. There are teams around the league in which I can feel pretty comfortable assuby HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think it will happen in the next handful of years. Two things could influence that (in my purely speculative opinion). A national championship, or a failure to beat Ohio State in the next two or three seasons. But it will take a wagon train full of money. And I'm not sure it would be worth it. Hard times turn Harbaugh flaky. Real flaky. He doesn't like scrutiny. But there is littlby HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com

It's not a fun team to watch, and it hasn't been for a very, very long time. This team had better really appreciate fans like the ones here on this board who have stuck by them despite their complete ineptitude. Fandom is a strange thing. Enough never seems to be enough. Fans seem to have an infinite capacity for bad football. For turnovers and penalties, dropped passes and missed assignmentby HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com
There's a guy that the franchise has mortgaged it's immediate future to get and then put his development in the hands of completely unqualified people. Aikman is saying the very things that the guys at work are getting so tired of hearing me say. I hope they heard Aikman. Maybe they won't think I'm such a lunatic.by HighPlainsDrifter - RamsFootballFans.com
