Teachers Urge Government To Reopen Schools Before Students Learn To Think For Themselves U.S.—Teachers at government schools have raised their concerns that the recent closure of their institutions will have a damaging effect on students. In particular, the nation's educators are worried that the longer the schools are closed, the more likely it is that students will begin thinking forby CeeZar - Bucky's Pub
There have been signs of this recommendation coming. If may happen, but not until there are enough of them available to supply the public without impacting the availability for the health care industry and a few other groups. A recommendation for gloves may also come, but that is not mentioned in the article.by CeeZar - Bucky's Pub
I haven't seen anyone discuss herd (no, not this one) immunity as a way forward for a while, but it was being discussed a few weeks ago in some circles. Summary - herd immunity is real, but would require a 70% infection/recovery rate to work for the Wuhan Virus. Interesting and quick read.by CeeZar - Bucky's Pub

On Sunday night, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an emergency use authorization for hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine, drugs often used to treat malaria and recently touted by President Donald Trump as a possible “game-changer” in the fight against the China-originated novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. The United States Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) announcedby CeeZar - Bucky's Pub
On March 29 the US had over 120,000 cases. Two weeks prior, 15 of the 18 "experts" didn't even have 100,000 in their worst-case range and none of them had more than 75,000 as their best estimate. These are "experts" and see how horribly wrong they are just two weeks out. There were over 120,000 cases in the US on March 29. The consensus forecast generated by thby CeeZar - Bucky's Pub
Key points quoted. But read the whole thing. QuoteIt doesn’t matter that the United States surpassed China this week in reported Covid-19 cases because those numbers (83,507 and 81,782 respectively as of March 26) don’t tell us how many people actually became infected in either country. Nor do they tell us how fast the disease is spreading, since only a tiny portion of the population in theby CeeZar - Bucky's Pub
We've been doing this for about 20 years how. You don't really need a ton of space if you are efficient about it. We are prepared, but I don't consider us "preppers" only because that generally carries some connotations that don't apply. IMHO, it only makes sense. We also keep small emergency kits in the car including a trauma kit with tourniquet and a few other bits. Having extra stby CeeZar - Bucky's Pub
These people didn't die from taking something Trump mentioned in a news conference. They took something they had at home for use in fish tanks that has a similar name. QuoteIt does not appear they took the pharmaceutical version of the drug, but rather "an additive commonly used at aquariums to clean fish tanks," Banner Health said in a statement. ... Last I checked the Rams' top 10 accounted for about 65%. And that was not counting Gurley's dead money or Brockers' new contract. Its' tough when rosters are this top heavy. On the bright side Kupp and Johnson outplay their cap numbers by a big margin. On the other hand, who know what we will get out of Cooks and his big cap number. This will be his last year as a Ram, at least on his current conby CeeZar - RamsFootballFans.com

I bought a case of N95 masks about 15 years ago. IIRC it was 10 boxes of 10. We've used many of those over the years as dust masks but still had about 40 left a month ago. I dropped some off at my brother and nephew about 3 weeks ago and they thought I was crazy. Told then to stock up on food and TP too. Anyway we have 33 now plus what we keep in our emergency kits in our cars. I've offered 20by CeeZar - Bucky's Pub

Thanks for asking. All good here. I've been working from home for about 5 years now so my days have not changed too much. The big change is that it my wife is now working from home. We used to share an office but were rarely in it at the same time for very long. We moved her stuff to the dining room so it should work out. We've got plenty of food and TP :) And I've checked on my immediateby CeeZar - Bucky's Pub

I switch to appendix carry a few years ago mainly for comfort while sitting/driving and easy access when in the car. There are quite a few options for appendix carry. This is the one I chose, for what it is worth. I carry an M&P Shield frequently. Originally purchased as a .40 but I bough a 9mm conversion barrel and a few 9mm mags. Keepers Errand Sometimes I just keep in the console. Noby CeeZar - Bucky's Pub
Back when I was more serious about competition I would dry fire about 20 minutes per day, practice mag changes, drawing under different circumstances, clearing failures, etc. Tremendously helpful for a shooting competitions where speed and accuracy are equally important. For someone not in competition, it does one very important thing and that is to build muscle memory. If you start off holding tby CeeZar - Bucky's Pub
QuoteNorCalRamFan 9 mm is one of the easiest and one of the least expensive rounds to learn how to shoot *accurately* I prefer a variation of the Beretta M9. FS92 A lot of people like Glocks. Many pistol ranges will let you rent firearms. Try a few different ones and see what suits you best... 9mm is the way to go. It won't break the bank to shoot a lot of ammo to learn and with the right loby CeeZar - Bucky's Pub

Packers and Bears are both tough games (with the Bears much better lately). The Vikes should beat the Chargers handily, but the Chargers are one of those teams capable of pulling a pretty big upset - at least talent-wise, not sure about their heart. And this game is on the road for the Vikes. With the Packers game being game 15 instead of 16, they will be motivated to win since home field/byeby CeeZar - RamsFootballFans.com
