against the Cards? or is it gonna be the same B&Ws.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and Gruden just used Cooks as a slot WR...not much as a TE. I think Everett is the same...more of a big WR...but Everett has some real game in the RAC area and McVay just needs to just get him out into the mix more. Everett MADE plays last year when he had a chance...and is very talented catching & running...I just wonder about the mental issues of how Everett handles(or fails) the scheme aby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
or get Everett more into the game plan ala Jared Cook...but I think McVay likes the explosiveness of having 3WRs as supposed to two TEs. We'll see if he mixes it up more between the two concepts.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Snead even has that saying on a coin on his desk that his wife gave him. Good stuff!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

a veteran team type of response...yet we are the 4th youngest in the NFL. That bodes well for the future!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
those penalties are nearly like sacks in that they place a brutal down & distance on the offense. AND, AD is held nearly every down if you watch replays...it's gonna be the holding penalties that will be pivotal for our defense this year...and put our DBs in position to INT. And, I think most agree that it was a rusty night for Goff & the defense...just think what'll look like when we sby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
cept for the deep balls...they were beautiful...just overthrown a hair which is perfect!!! No underthrows (like Carr to Cooks on JJs INT). Other than that, Goff 's ball placement was horrible on about 50% of his throws. imo Rusty? yes. Goff will settle down. I think this looked like a 3rd PS game...cept that the game counted. We played poorly and won by 20pts. THAT bodes well for thby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
That is one BIG OLB...it's odd to see it. #94 is easier on the eye cuz I just think it's zone-blitz and a DL is dropping into coverage! lolby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
then, try and PA pass of any successes. But I think they'll run right at us and dare us to stop em. I'll bet Kiser gets some time tonight and does well stopping the run. It's the offense that will be slow to get into rhythm I think.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
even the best offenses...I think it's just easier on nerves for ball handlers to come in after an opposing series...after the defense stops them...or doesn't and the opposing team scores. Either is good, cuz if the opposing team drives down and scores..it really wipes out 80% of the nervousness lights a fire under the offense to come out sharp and go down and score. imoby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm a little nervous that the offense will take a few games to get itself sorted... I feel the defense will be better earlier...but we will be run on in the first few games...gashed by big runs. There's somethin about Wade's defense that creates big holes on delayed runs sometimes... but that's like every team I guess, right call at the right time. Man, I am SOOO gunshy/snakebit/pessimisticby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and if McVay liked Webb...Goff would have some thots of him as well. Tho, it doesn't seem McVay has outward doubts about Mannion...yet. we'll see if they make a move towards anyone. McVay knows what he's looking for in a QB, I think.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
while our team adjusts a bit. IMO Also, student vs teacher might be in play a year or two more as McVay burns that from his system. The Rams may stumble early a few games but then they will hit stride 2/3s in and get on a roll and settle into their game. just a fear of mine...teams are usually rusty when the year begins...and work out the kinks...so we can't get too excited either way. Mby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
which just scares me. hope is a scary thing! lol btw - The fear I have is that we sustain an injury to ONE player.... I won't name him... so, please don't scoff... but our season's over if his name is.....____.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
but that's just me....;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
sometimes guys just are not good enough at the next level...and that's that! I like Davis Webb too...he's in the Connor Cook mold sorta. I would kick the tires on both QBs tho I liked BAllen too and we have him...so many bad QBs to sign...so little time!! LOL ;) Heck, I loved Cardale's college performance and thot he'd be, at worst, a solid/avg starter in the NFL. Just goes to show thatby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

well done!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Our HC is a smart dude...McVay wanted Hem to do well...loved his athleticism/effort...but in the end the kid didn't step up... and instead of having Hem take up a spot...he cut the kid. GREAT follow thru by McVay to keep the players who do well in games... I'm really happy bout that!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Man...they are very close to the same B&W scheme. It almost looks like the Chargers tried to beat the Rams to the color combo for LA. It looks very bad to have 2 teams with uniforms sooo similar...the B&Ws, I mean. I really hope we go towards the B&Y more this year and make a clear distinction between the two teams.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
then, OLB in the 3rd...with one of our 3 - 3rd rounders. Who knows? Maybe we trade down a bit/or out of the 1st completely and get a few more 2nd & 3rd rounders. We seem to be drafting very very well with mid round selections and so, I think getting more picks - since we're hitting on them - might be a way to proceed also. I think our last draft was really eye-opening as far as decent plaby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
for the less contact in practice...but at least, allow these players to watch film and learn the O & D with coaches in the offseason...all else can stay as is.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
would be the ability to play 2 different divisions every year = 8 games - 1 NFC + 1 AFC so fans can get to see all teams and not wait so long between. That'd be great fun!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Reg season + Play-offs get us well over 20+ games as it is right now. Even not making the play-offs...each team with the PS currently plays 20 games regardless. Why not make them matter?!! I think converting the 4 PS games to reg season ones and making the season 20games is a fine solution....and I don't know too many drawbacks. I'd increase the roster limit to 63 and have a PS squad at 1by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
totally agree, OSRF!!!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
cept about Ebukam...I hot he showed crazy burst/explosiveness...very very fast to the edge. Just waan mention Ejuan Price...he looked really sharp with passing rushing moves...and decent speed. Price had 2 sacks. imo One helluva spin move to the inside...but not the athleticsim Ebukam has...but better moves as a pass rusher kinda. I liked both guys and think if we get the DL set with ADby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I wouldn't take Hemingway over players like Davis(RB) or Hodge(WR)..I'd just keep 2 TEs and more WRs....I think McVay likes the 3 WRs more than the TEs cuz that's where the talent is on this team...not at TE. So, keep the two that are serviceable and stick to 3 WRs sets as the standard grouping...like last year. iirc Hemingway is a coach killer. imo ...and he takes up a valuable spot thatby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
