I highly doubt every team's QB is NOT getting play info until 15secs in their earpiece. Everyone acts like only the Rams can talk to Goff up until the last second...like McVay is walking Goff thru everything on the helmet comms...and no other team does that!! It's so silly! EVERY team does that!! if the Rams relied to heavy on that HC/OC-QB comms then the Pats showed just how to beat thatby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
then, they didn't...and ended up playing extremely well. How do those guys ever sit on the bench??? Hell, Littleton went from STs guy to calling the defense and leading the team in tackles in his first year starting. Kiser played on all STs last year...looks like another Littleton experiment. The Rams have said that STs is where you earn your spot and is a stepping stone to starting. Playby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I call smokescreen on McVay. How many footballs will they have to spread around to all these current playmakers we already have???? I do not see offense at #31...especially..."PLAYMAKERS" for an offense that lead the league ins scoring.... and one that has topped out with contracts to RB, have Cooks, Woods, Kupp, Everett ALL signed for 3 more years. On defense? we were worst agaiby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I have two daughters also...and am not too impressed with boys/young men I see...sans my two other kids (both boys). I agree with the take you posted...but there's also somethin to a man getting his "mind right"...and the years it takes sometimes. Also, often power/wealth manfest to obscure many and detract from their ability to get to the core of themselves. I have no other explanby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
However, yeah, I see what you like about him, Otter.... He looks like EXACTLY my kind of penetrating DT/5tech...great get off and appeared to be the 1st off the snap. I'm moving him up my board just on those few silly vids...but his athleticism leaps of the screen!!!! great find...thnx bro!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I though he'd be a cheap groom and heir to the backup spot while having good experience. Remember guys...we are on hit -losing Goff - that would sink the entire year for the team... I find that if it would be criminal to hold the team hostage to that and McVay NOT solve the back-up problem. oh well...by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
which really bodes well to his development and potential going into year 2. "the plan was to redshirt the entire 2018 draft class." - DZRams I like that way of developing to allow the best of the rooks to shine when they get their chance. we'll see how this draft class goes.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
They are usually just Run stuffers with little pass rush...and so, are less valued. They can be had for cheap....but the NTs that have a little more pass rush ability are interesting and maybe the Rams are intrigued by NT Lawrence of Clemson.....we shall see.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
many things not go his way as a young NFL player...and he never really shined in the Jag system cuz he was beat out by a very good player. Perhaps the Rams see a reclamation project that has the talent to be far better than his past has shown....the kid's only 24 and never started an entire year in his whole career. I liked what I saw from him and think good coaching and focus on his ability coby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Fisher and his offense had no clue what an offense needs or how to build it...capt the RBs which he did okay. Manion was a guilt pick. imo The Rams couldn't coach anyone at QB...Foles Keenum went on to have success with other teams...but not ours. Our defense was a collosal waste cuz our offense was dictated by a defensive coach that thought he knew more than the OC did. I liked our defensby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
it sheers off the Frontal Cortex and leaves men fending off pure compulsions. lol it's worse than "meth or crack". LOL I'm exaggerating and being silly...but, not by much!! ;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Wade gets whatever he wants...especially, when the defense is what needs some more parts that work to we don't have shoot-outs every week. Wade needs to step it up this year and make our defense SOLID(10th to 15th) in pts allowed to keep the Rams from running shootouts in games. I think Wade knows the players he's coached quite well...and knows what they can & CANNOT do for what he is tryingby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Reynolds in the 4th - who came on when Kupp got injured and we didn't miss a beat in scoring. Rams are doing some great work here the las t2 years. Heck, imo, we've got the best FO since the 70s on drafting new talent. One can worry about if they choose... but I think they are not giving the FO the benefit of the doubt. That's cool...we all handle stress differently....but, I think we are doby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
everything is okay. ;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
"is a complete waste". That could be said if he fails to make the team...but he's not been cut yet and is the mix for the starting spot or depth at the EDGE. That is not a waste...especially when talking about 5th rounders.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Ciuz the staff thot it was fine to let Sully go and let Allen take over. Are they right? Will Allen be as successful as Sully??? I dunno...but the coaches made that choice.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
that is just going to happen in by August. Our team is not complete now so, I'm not sure it should be seen as complete.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and JFM at LDE and AD at RDE....just guessing.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
will be what the Rams end up signing at some point this offseason....either in the draft, UDFAs, FA or Aug cuts.... we'll have the OL depth sorted out before the season starts. imo I think the Weddle signing will be exactly what the Whit signing was ----cept for the DBs that we have and bring in this off-season. Weddle will teach JJIII how to take that next step and be the QB of the DBs iby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
You just said you believe there'd be little drop-off from Saffold top Boom. Also, Boom is our LT of the future. we have a 1st and 2-3rds to draft a LG back-up this draft - besides any UDFAs or late cuts we may find. You're worrying over a back-up?? That's okay, and a necessary problem to figure out, but we're not in dire straits(great freakin band - btw). I like how the Rams are draftingby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and he's a Blythe type...an Iowa-esque undersaized OL that is smart but limited athletically and a bit undersized. Rams seem to like those kinda guys...smart/undersized...but maybe instinctive...that can win with technique, smarts and hustle Kinda like Kupp. we'll see but I bet we make some FA moves for OL like that... or even draft a few late or sign some UDFAs that fit the same profileby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I just think the Rams se the drop off from Saffold to Boom....as not that much. I think the Rams saw a place to save some money and get the youngins involved without much drop off and took it. Will it werk???? We shall see. Boom looked fine to me on the island at LT so I think he could handle LG. Boom may even have niftier feet than Saffold tho not the power. Again....we shall see. Allenby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
on personnel stuff. why? Cuz they have been very in tune with their locker-room and players performance...and know what they want when they see it. nuthinburger here.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Brown did NOT fit our ZR scheme to the liking of the staff. Period. He's gone. We will draft new depth and sign FAs & UDFAs next year to fill the gaps. Period. Just like they did with Blythe, Allen, Boom... (see attempts at signing Groy and Evan Boehm as fits for our system)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
jeesh....the recoup comp picks like...like...>insert great metaphor here< just a great FO and demonstrates the power of having a system that the coaches know what kinda player they need to fill those valued spots and let the others depart in FA.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Ferguson? Winovich? Polite? .......or trade down to mid 2nd round while adding a 3rd and a 5th too.... and roll the dice on a DL interior guy(Simmons drops?, Tillery?), OL, or Safety/CB.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
at this stage a 2nd rounder for us needs to be a vet probably.....cuz a rookie will take a long time to get reps away from Goff at this stage. However, that 3rd QB is where I think they draft and let him learn and watch from Goff & the Vet behind Goff. The 2nd string QB just needs to KNOW the NFL already when he comes in. imo Now....is Bortles that guy??? I sure think McVay would dby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Fowler tore his ACL his rookie year and then couldn't get the job for 2 more years sitting behind a ProBowler(that Yannick guy). So, imo, Fowler is still a work in progress. The Rams liked him & wanted him back for another year but with a full offseason to integrate. The kid still seems hungry...has a good motor...and can bring the heat sometimes tho he had few sacks this year he flashed aby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
