I have played.. but not many times. It hurts. :laughing Nah, that isn't what keeps me from playing.... it's how out of shape I am. But anyway... my son-in-law and oldest grandson do play.... somewhat regularly... and just won a tournament in Sacramento, (or near Sacramento). That qualified them for the World Championships to be held in Florida this coming November. They haven't decidedby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
just a day, maybe not even that long, after reading your post I opened a notice from the D.M.V. to renew my registration stating that I couldn't renew until taking care of a recall. I didn't know about any recall... and the notice from the D.M.V. didn't say what the recall was for.. only the recall number was given... so I can't help but wonder... Is the recall to address the very issue you bby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

Kidding, of course. Put me down for the 'nice' version. The devil side would take too much energy.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'm sure they're leaving the current route in front? That section is fairly new.... if so, that would mean Jack's will be surrounded by highway, sort of an island in-between highways. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I have always "heard", (this is not substantiated), that the route in Calif. that has the most accidents is 152 from 99 to I5. I drive that route very seldom. Also... considering the dense population centers in Calif I find it hard to believe that route could be worse than some of those in Southern Calif. I don't mean they are worse drivers down there, :laughing , I just mean there aby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Since I am coming from the north on 41 when I go thru that area. It looks like the Cholame cafe is ok as the merge with 41 and 46 looks to happen right at Cholame. Like you I have traveled that route many, many times, and still do. From where I live we have only two routes to the coast.. one over Pacheco Pass which leads to the Monterey area and this one. I've seen many accidents on thatby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I believe I have seen more sympathy posts for Olivia on social media than any other celebrity who died. I wasn't aware she was loved as much as she was. She touched many people.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
When a new musical comes out my sister stops just short of putting in those giant opening day spotlights. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Nearly all of them, in fact. I know, that makes me the weirdo in the PUB. :laughing Dancing is a major part of our family life. My sister has her own dance studio. We've been involved in dance since the 50's. All my kids took dance... my daughters into their early 20's. My granddaughter currently takes dance and has since she was 3.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I almost feel like Olivia was a part of my family. My daughters watched Grease, I believe, every day from the 4th grade through high school. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
the lady said she'd take them as soon as her house was ready, but it's been nearly 3 months! I'm doubting she takes them. If not: Want 3 kittens? :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Began with Zefler.... then evolved into Gorn. I can actually date friendships by which nickname they call me. :laughing All the variations are in use today depending on the friend... but today I don't have a nickname among newer friends..... like from 1980 onward.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
it's always something. Seems like for every issue that comes up and I fix 2 more sprout up to take it's place. Didn't know that about Kia's... thanks. My wife has a Kia Optima. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I need a 'stage name'. :laughing But I'm lousy at coming up with nicknames... and I don't dare let my friends pick one for me... it would never get by the censors. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
What is incredible is the actual story may be more amazing than the movie version... but no matter... it's the best thing every brought to film.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I really don't get this. AD is drawing two OL'men minimum, every play... where in the hell is the next guy? And I don't mean the other guys are failing... actually they are doing pretty well... just seems they should be doing a lot better.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
they are good friends... and I think they simply are caught up in new 'tech' that causes misunderstanding.. they certainly aren't TRYING to be confrontative... they just don't understand... so I have no wish to just write them off. It's a new world, Mama... I get that people my age, even younger than me... don't fully 'get' what in the hell is going on. You are VERY competent in tech... butby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Sorry, that subject title was so tempting I couldn't resist. And not that it matters but what it means is I'm going to spread those all new fancy-dancy rubber bark chips onto my front lawn instead of real bark, or rocks. And actually.. I'm not going to spread a thing.. my grandson's are... that's what grandson's are for, no?by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Yes, it is subjective.. but 'most' of those names stood out for me for not being in the HOF.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
about other team players perhaps more deserving.. now WAY am I about to do the research to figure out if I think another player on 'said' team is more deserving. Tangent... Holt is going to make, it's just a matter of when. Some of the others on that list from other teams will make it as well... I'm sure. BUT... for some it will most likely be posthumously... and that's sad. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
It's a great idea.. AND there are great benefits... I admit that.. BUT... I don't use it much. I try but just can't get into the habit to check it often. I use Facebook to make contact with VERY old friends, and a couple groups, and that's about it.... I stopped adding any friend request a few years ago.... but what that leads to is this: People pissed at me because I didn't reply.. or commeby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Is tuning them differently. With a double bass pedal you'll also get a different tone from each strike because the beaters hit the drumhead in different places BUT... no where near as different as using two bass drums tuned differently.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
WOW, he's not in the HOF?????by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Today's hard rock, metal, require fast drums 'rolls'... I call them rolls because they are that fast these days. 2 is easier... although there does exist a few who can play a single bass drum so fast you'd swear they were using 2. But also: They sell double bass drum pedals... they strike only one bass drum but there are two pedals... so same thing.... only two two bass drums look more bad aby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

Yeah, when a band you go to see doesn't play your favorite song by them it's frustrating. :laughing Really kind of amazing how differently groups, vocalists, perform in concert... length of concert... how many of their older songs they perform.... talking to the audience... etc. I saw John Denver once and he played almost non-stop for a little over 3 hours. About half way into the conceby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I liked when they first came out. A few of them I loved when they came out. And a VERY few I still love today. I just can't play the same song for year's in a row and continue you to want to hear them... even if I still like them. Remember the Steven Wright joke?
