But thanx for the info. I didnt know it worked quite like that.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
The article clearly states...lol j/k. I figured you would disagree. Who knows...maybe you're right.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I know there has been alot of rumblings about the rams drafting a te but I dont think the rams fo that route. Mcvay seems to like Everett and indicated that Everetts preseason injury slowed him significantly. Nevertheless last year Everett doubled is rookie production with about 70 percent of those catches coming in the last 8 games.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
If mcvay and snead are not smart enough to realize goff sucks what makes you think they can see a risk in signing peters? Were doomed. Go rams! Quotespagsbacker I think they are just being smart and saying everything necessary to placate a combustible guy like Peters. There is no way I extend Peters to a long term deal, and I imagine McVay and Snead are smart enough to see the risk as well. Alby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
idk...i could see them drafting bradbury and starting allen at center and him at lg or redshirting bradbury and moving him to lg next year assumming whit retires and noteboom moves to lt. overall i just like the idea of drafting a versatile linemen and letting the best 5 win.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I dont really care either way but I think the problems with the PI rule will be more highlighted thus causing more problems. PI as defined imo is too subjective. The rule should be written more objectively.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Check out this article on him from his time in gb. Maybe this years blythe?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm intrigued by Murphy. He was a mid rou d pick and has some starting experience in GB. He could be the swing tackle.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
but i was under the impression is going much earlier. daniel jeremiah has him number 4 overall.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
again, im aware of your position. you have stated it many times. i disagree with the premise that decisions can be made in such an equable and orderly manner time after time as you suggest. You have a different opinion, thats fine. Quotezn QuotePHDram 1. There is nothing about the word collaborative that necessitates the equal distribution decision making power. 2. 1. There is nothing about the word collaborative that necessitates the equal distribution decisionmaking power. 2. Personally I've been involved with many collaborative projects and have had various degrees of power within the decionmaking structure of the collaborative. And yes I know what you think. I simply disagree with it.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com

The poster said he "would rank proficiency at drafting among the top 5 things that contribute to team success". My response was to that comment. And at least in this case it does not appear to correlate. I never suggested drafting was the only thing. However I do find it curious how I team can manage sustained success without drafting well. It seems like over time it should catch up. Ifby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
at this point. I think this year will be a big year in determining peters future with the rams.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
But on 2 of these 3 lists NE does not rank very high yet they have had more on field success then any team. Thus a cursory look at the evidence does not support your assertion.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Probably...but either way were only talking a 2 inch and 10 pound difference. Plus Allen's arms are longer. Does that make up the difference in height? Again I'm in favor of drafting Bradbury and letting kromer figure out how to mesh the pieces together.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
There is a lot of interesting stuff here. One thing that jumped out at me was that contrary to popular opinion NE ranked 29th in the NY post article suggesting that they are a poor drafting team. Is the methodology or public opinion wrong?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
If the argument is that Allen is to small does drafting Bradbury change anything. Bradbury is more or less the same size as Allen. For the record I'm totally fine with drafting Bradbury. Quoteden-the-coach I like more boost in the caboose as well, however, I trust Kromer as the Rams had a few choices last year where they drafted Brian Allen and they went with him. Now, if they draft Bradby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com

I find young an intriguing prospect. Before his injury he seemed like a bigtime athlete. Hopefully he can regain that form.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I have no problem with 40 percent. It may very well be acceptable. However as I said the sample is biased. I never said anything about sample size. The bias stems from your own selection criteria. You say that was your intention. That's fine. But I'm pointing out how your methods bias the results. The 40 percent should be put in context and in order to do that you need the full range. You came up with your own way to asses the draft which is fine but it still has a number of subjective elements. Most notably as you point out is the difficulty in defining a hit. However my main objection is your dample. If you only picked good teams to assess your sample is biased. Without the bad teams we cant get an average. Moreover a reputation for drafting well does not actually mean theyby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Is that their is no generally no comparison against other nfl teams nor is there an agreed metric to measure the success of a draft pick making these conversation filled with subjectivity.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Anything about "big things." If he contributes as a rotational player it will be a successful pick.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
i hear you....and like i said from what ive read he has done and said all the right things since. i just think that mcvay and snead will not want to deal with the pr issues that will undoubtedly occur. while they have taken the risk on some guys (i.e., fowler, peters) my imporession is that they would prefer investing a 1st round pick on a high character guy (see cook, nootbbom, cooks, kupp).by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
