That would be my choice.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I like Littleton. I think hes a great player. Maybe I'm wrong but I just can't see them paying that kinda money for an ilb. Wade typically let's those guys walk. Plus I think they have guys on the roster who can fill in adequately if not completely replace him. Can obo generate 10 sacks?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Keeping Ramsey a ram is a no brainer imo. I think the real question is what do they do with fowler. I think the goal is to have an impact player on every level of the d. Is fowler that guy?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
further. it should be noted that it is difficult as a fan evaluate a player like noteboom. as you said he has hardly played. however he has been on the practice field every day for a year and a half. the coaches have a much better handle on this progress or lack there of. that being said, i would but all my eggs in one basket. i would attack the "oline problem" (btw i acknowledge iby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
its difficult to accept your assessment of player for whom you dont seem to know much about. Quotespagsbacker what do you call a 3rd year player drafted (maybe overdraft) in the 4th rd that has missed a chunk of one season and has hardly seen the field? go ramsby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
i love the win and the TEAM played great. clearly best performance of the year imo. but lets not get overly confident. just like all wasnt a disaster after the ravens game, im not sure the oline is "fixed" just yet. lets see how they do against that niner front.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
what exactly is the difference between question marks that "produce real doubt" and question marks in which "we dont know yet" in any event Long was not a question mark for me. I thought he was exactly what the rams wanted/needed. i realize he got off to a slow start but that happens all the time.i look forward to seeing him play more.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Why exactly was long a question mark?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
How much do you think scherff will get?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
lol. im also thinking someone like scherff or even trent williams (if we doesnt cost too much in terms of draft capital). couple that with a 2nd or 3rd rounder and some development from 1 or 2 of our existing young guys should create enough competition on the line to fix it. yes the d will take a bit of a hit but hopefully guys like obo and howard and young can develop.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
i tend to agree with you. i think both will be gone. both are very good players but im not sure the rams can afford either. in fact, i think they night be better served shoring up the oline and acquiring needed depth.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
the mercurial nature of football from both fans and analysts is unreal. one week you suck, and the next week you win player of the week. as with most things, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
theres not alot of free agency dollars either.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
i have to agree here. well know more as the season progresses but it seems as though the team had a plan to reduce the wear and tear on the knee and stuck to the plan. I think the game itself on occasion dictated that they needed to throw more often but overall I think they took the long term view and just stuck with the plan. that "im back" video clip seems to indicate that gurley isby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
personally i think our d will be very good overall for the next few years. i think they will let brockers go, move SJD out to end and plug gaines in the middle and add another piece in the draft. i go back and forth on fowler but in the end i think they keep him so they have 1 playmaker on each level of the d. imo, next years draft is all about the oline. if that gets straightened out i thby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Makes a lot of sense. Not sure I agree with it all but definitely some.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Sorry if you dont cliches...but they exist for a reason. Teams him when they shouldn't all the time. And since you brought it up...if injuries dictate sitting Gurley why not sit Goff? I'm sure no one wants the franchise qb hurt.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Isnt that why they play the game? Using your logic the Steelers should have lost the game before it even started....but they didn't.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
For acquiring the talent but mcvay is now overrated? Wow things change like the wind in here.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
If using gurley was working and I agree he was effective running the ball how do you know that using him more would not have won the game?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah...2019 does not appear to be our year. I'm as disappointed as anyone on this board but I find it pretty amazing how fast people jump ship on this bunch. Didnt they earn a little leeway in turning this team around in 2017?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
On this gloomy day...that made my laugh.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
They are paying Matthews and Weddle about 6. You could potentially do something similar on the line.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
perhaps im wrong but what i think he meant by cap friendly is not that they would take less money but that the contract would be backloaded. that being said, i tend to agree with you. signing fowler will not be cheap either way you want to look at it. and being that littleton was an ufa he will most certainly looking to get as much money as possible. in contrast, fowler at least has made someby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Agreed. Very possible. Would he take a few million less to stay in la?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah but they need about 14 for Fowler, about 4 for the draft and at least 2 for miscellaneous 2020 expenses. 6 million isnt enough to sign Littleton. Quotegeorge_allen yes, in and of itself, the $4M won't buy fowler and or littleton. but the cap space in 2020 isn't just the $4M. The $4m brings it up to almost $26M. they will have to cover the meager 2020 draft class and the paltryby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree that the money will be used to keep Fowler but not AND Littleton. There is not enough space currently to keep both.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
not saying they wont, but wade has demonstrated that he favors olbs over ilbs in his defense. I agree that littleton has done everything right but i dont think they will THAT position what littleton will make on the open market. For example, they let the ilbs walk when he was in denver.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
