Yup. Another bad contract by our guys.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Prescott is as overrated as Goff is underrated. People fall in love with the athletic QB who can make a wow off schedule play, and seem to always overlook the fatal flaws. Inconsistency and lack of mental toughness and acuity. I’ll take Goff any day of the week over Prescott, especially in a big game.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Certainly, McVay is elite. He is recognized as elite by every professional football person out there. Only people questioning it are hot headed fans who think they know more than professionals.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay kicked Goff to the curb. And it hurt Goff. Goff was broken emotionally by McVay's treatment. He said Campbell built him back up. And it’s noticeable to anyone with an open mind. He still has the same inherent weaknesses, you pressure him and you can’t knock the ball out of his hands easier than most QBs. But he no longer is making those off the wall head scratching dumb throws across the fiby max - RamsFootballFans.com
He can’t run anymore. And he was pretty much average at his best. Nice guy, team leader, but now overpaid and not worth much on the field.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Lions have more talent. Goff is not the same guy he was 3 years ago. He has flaws, we all know them. But choking late in the game isnby max - RamsFootballFans.com
There isn't a QB in the NFC who would be better for us in these playoff than Stafford. Ask yourself, who would you rather have under center in these playoff, Stafford, Dak, Purdy, Goff, Baker, Love, or Hurts?by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Allen makes 2nd team all pro with 29 TD and 18 INT In 2021, Stafford had 41 TD and 17 INT, and was labeled a turnover machine with no all pro awards.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM I've got many NON-Ram fan friends asking me about it.... and frankly, I really haven't given it much thought. sure I'm aware of it.... but it's a playoff game vs the Lions for me....the head to head Stafford vs Goff thing is superflouous for me... .or at least for the most part. I get the appeal... it IS a story... but that's about it for me. Kind of like SoFi vs Ford Field.... peby max - RamsFootballFans.com
I know some posters don’t think much of McVay, at least one guy here wanted McVay dumped. But I firmly believe McVay will be in the HOF one day. He’s an all time great. Without him, we’re just another losing organization.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
I’ll be surprised if it’s not Rams Lions. It’s an amazing storyline that the NFL will do everything in their power to make happen.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Anyone who said stuff like “I’m done with McVay” and already had another coach as their preference was talking nonsense. It’s called over emotional craziness by amateur living room couch GMs.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Rodgers got to 1 SB with all those really good Packers teams. He repeatedly had HFA in the playoffs and stunk in the 4th quarter. Most recently, he had HFA against Niners in 2021, and choked in the red zone at end of game. He’s always been too afraid to throw a pick. He pads his stats, and chokes in big games when he has to show some guts. In a big game with when you need a guy with iby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Look at 4th comebacks / winning drives. Thats what’s important, not passing stats. It’s wins that count. And Rodgers is historically bad at 4th quarter winning drives. Stafford is 6th all time Rodgers is 28th.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
My qualifier on my argument is McVay. I maintain that if Stafford was with McVay like Brady was with Belichick then we’d have seen a much more consistent Stafford. McVay pushes consistently as the ultimate in importance. Look at Rodgers 4th Quarter performance. It’s nowhere near as good as Stafford’s. IMO, Stafford would have been better than Rodgers or Favre, if he was with McVay hisby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Several factors contribute to Stafford being the most underrated QB ever. He played the majority of his career, when he was in his prime physically, with a disaster organization in a small market. He doesn't wow anyone with his running ability, he's a pure drop back QB like Marino, PManning and Brady. He hasn't won enough, and no one cares that he hasn't had the same situation as those oby max - RamsFootballFans.com
If we can’t beat them when we have our football lives on the line and they don’t, then why bother with the playoffs. I say bring on those MFs. I don’t expect to go far in the playoffs having to win 3 straight road games anyway. So let’s at least kick the Niners asses and make a statement.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteferragamo79 Arizona bad as Giants Id rather play Pittsburg than SF....unless they rest starters which it looks like Big Whit said he thinks its gonna be Rams and Seahawks in when all is said and done. He believes we'll beat Niners. He also said the Niners will be taking a big risk if they play their starters in what will be a very physical game.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Their QBs will get totally embarrassed in the playoffs.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
I think this is where we are now… If we win out we’re in. If we split our last 2 games we’re in if: 1. Seattle loses a game. 2. Seattle wins out AND Packers beat Vikings and lose to Bears. Or Vikings beat Packers and lose to Lions.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBerendsenRam Didn't know Pat Kirwan was still on Radio or a Pod I remember him being wrong so many times reminds me of Mike Lombardi. GO RAMS! Kirwan never impressed me. He was a total failure as a Jets FO guy. Not sure what his claim to fame is. I think somehow he got into the good old boys club.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteThe Professor You have four teams that control their destiny. Ignoring Minnesota leaves NO, TB, and the rams. NO plays both of the other teams in their remaining games. If they go 2-0 it likely dooms the other squads. If they go 0-2 it dramatically increases the chances that the rams and TB get in. Interesting observation. NO is in the middle of this whole thing. Never liked them anyway. Wby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Assuming that SF, Philly, Dallas, and Detroit are all in, only 4 other teams control their destiny as far as getting into the playoffs. Rams, Vikings, Bucs, and Saints get into playoffs if they win out. GB, Atlanta, and Seattle all need help to get in even if they win out. Don’t listen to that dolt Pat Kirwan, who said Seattle controls their destiny. He’s a Pete Carrol suck up.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
I’m not getting into the elite argument, but by any measure Hurts hasn’t looked good the past 3 weeks. He was pretty bad last night. Whats his excuse? He’s got one of the best OLs in the NFL and top notch WRs. Maybe the league has figured him out. We shall see.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Right now, Stafford is the best QB in the NFC. I guarantee you, no one wants to face us in the first round with the way he is playing, especially after the way he scared the crap out of Baltimore. Overall, this is a better situation for him than 2021 because of the running game. Yes, we are weaker on the OL because of no Big Whit, but everywhere else around him we are equal or better.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
I wish they would stop wearing the all blues. They look bad and they lose 80% in them.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s the thing about Goff. He’s an extreme QB in that under pressure he’s worse than most QBs, but give him time and he’s better than most QBs. Thats why we see these huge swings in performance from him, and also why his critics and supporters have a field day with the guy. After last night, we get crickets or grumpy posts from his critics. But wait for a game when Goff is gettingby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Allen's not a burner (typical of a Rams mid-round pick), but he makes catches outside his frame, high points the ball, and wins contested balls. Those are very valuable attributes for a TE.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
There are 3 playoff spots in the NFC that are undecided. Look at the teams in the running for those 3 spots. TB ATL NO GB Minny SEA Rams. Does the League really want a playoff slate filled with subpar QBs? Do they really want 3 teams from the NFC North with bad to erratic QBs in the playoffs? All im saying here is don’t be surprised if we get better treatment from the refsby max - RamsFootballFans.com
