QuoteSpeed_Kills In 2012, the St. Louis Rams gave Snead the GM job, handed him the keys to the drafting, the releasing, the hiring and the firing. The Rams had already hired coach Jeff Fisher. Their club was a group of bass guitars in search of a lead singer. As recently as 2016, people wondered if Snead could hang on. I’m the one who said Fisher should and would be fired before the 2016 season ended. Better look elsewhere if you’re talking about Fisher backers.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
I’m not saying it’s not false narrative. I’m saying false narrative fits Hollywood to a tee. I’m perfectly good with false narrative. I should be, Ive been an LA fan since the early 60’s.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
With the Rams back in LA, this stuff takes on high powered glitz and buzz in the media. Let’s not ignore the influence that his wife Kara Henderson has on Snead’s handling of the media. From where I sit Snead is much more assertive in his taking credit for building this roster. Sure, he took responsibility before, but he always deferred to Fisher in the pressers. Those days are long gone. My guesby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn Quotemax Very subtle, IMO, in the way he never mentioned Fisher in any of the draft moves. Les makes it sound like he was the man doing the picks. Whenever you see an article on Snead and his record that focuses on Snead's view, he always takes all the credit. Even though we know that drafting with the Rams did not work that way---for example Donald was as much Fisher and Williams as Snby max - RamsFootballFans.com

But the major takeaway was that Goff was being overhyped. He scoffed at the #38 ranking in the top 100 players list. He’s basically saying Goff hasn’t looked that good to him. IMO, that means last year or what he’s seen of Goff so far this off-season. You can be said to be doing very well and still not be a top QB. That’s what’s being discriminated here. Quotezn Quotemax So you do think that if they don't get those 2 guys signed that Demoff hasn't done a good job or you at least have concerns about him? It;s a worry. I'm personally not there yet but I have no quarrel with the people who have issues on this. I keep saying, if they sign Donald and Cooks, I will be fine with things. That's about how I feel about it. QuoteAlbaNY_Ram "He must get it done, I don't care how ..." Max, it sounds like you're saying that Demoff should just ask Donald what he wants ... and then give it to him. Is that what you're saying? If not then what are you saying? I’m saying Demoff needs to figure out how to sign Donald to a representative contract commensurate with his value. Yes, but... Fisher said we were going to trade our 2015 first rounder to move up. Ergo, no Gurley.by max - RamsFootballFans.com

I remember reading somewhere that agents have said that Snead is very competent to work with, but Demoff/Pastoors don't totally have their act together. I can't remember the exact report or where it was, but it makes sense.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
The Texans signed JJ Watt when he was totally dominating the NFL and was clearly the best defensive player in the league. Its doable. You want to put this on Donald when no one knows what he wants and we do know that the Rams have historically mangled contracts.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLos Angeles Lenny Demoff has no feel for the game. I would hope that he relies on Snead and McVay to assess who needs to be signed. I don't feel confident that he does.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
If they don't sign Donald before the season starts then thats a big black mark on Demoff, no excuses. He must get it done, I don't care how, and I don't care what his reasons are if he doesn't get it done. You've got the DPOY and arguably the best defensive player in the NFL, a likely HOF DT, and one of the greatest players in Rams history. Demoff has a month to get this thing done. Curley is a sports reporter who has been at many OTAs over the past 2 years. He also attends all the McVay pressers and is one of the better reporters who posts what is said in detail. Just listened to him talk about Goff in OTAs. He said Goff hasn’t looked very good. Lots of picks and batted balls. He said Goff has been incorrectly portrayed in social media by other sources. Made it sound like disingenuous hype. He did say that Goff looked really good on Monday so he felt comfortable letting the cat out of the bag now. Quoteleafnose a spectacular review one area that I'll certainly miss Sammy Watkins is blocking. If there's an opening for a guy on the field to be that player from this group, it might be Josh. Cooks isn't the largest body, and at some point to mix it up, and give an edge to #30 running the ball, perhaps Reynolds gets out there in 4 receiver sets just for that. thats true about the blockby max - RamsFootballFans.com
