If the ball was close enough to Perrine and he had the opportunity to dive for the ball, why didn't he?by BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com
“I was in pursuit of Jimmie and he got in the way.” Warner turned into Stanford and hit him from behind. He only apologized because he got caught. He’s a cheap shot player and I care what he says. He just gave me another reason to hate the Whiners.by BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree. The Whiners took a bunch of cheapshots that game. On the same drive that Stafford threw the interception in the endzone in the 1st quarter and was head butted by Warner, earlier in the drive when it was 1st and 10 at the 22 around the 9:00 minute mark, Greenlaw threw an elbow into the back of Akers when he was already on the ground. It's clear his model is not sustainable in the NFL. He mortgages the future and now that it has blown up there's no way he can expect any decent free agents to sign with the Rams in the future. This may work in the NBA but not in the NFL. Too many pieces are needed to field a consistently competitive team. And with no draft picks this team is destined for a long dry spell.by BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com

Agreed. I'm more disappointed in the front office for how they are managing personnel. Lately, the Rams personnel moves are more tactical rather than strategic. Yes, I'm disappointed in this year, but I'm more concerned about the coming years. We don't appear to have a long term plan. “Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Jimmy Garoppolo 27,5M/yr (4th highest) 5 years in the league with 10 starts I can think of 15 QBs in the NFL I would rather have than Jimmy G-sus.by BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff may not be the next Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Peyton Manning, but the Rams can win championships with him. I truly believe that. He just needs time and experience. One thing I noticed on the interception Goff threw at the end of the game is that he needs to work on his pre-snap reads. He intended to throw to Cooks the whole time even though Gilmore was playing 10 yards off. There'sby BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com

I never said the other missed calls didn't count. I said the victory seems a bit hollow. I would have preferred they won without that missed call. If you're fine with it so be it, but don't assume I'm fine with it just it because you are.by BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm very happy the Rams are in the Superbowl, but I'm not happy with how they got there. I feel they played a great game in a tough environment and deserved to win and who knows what may have happened had the correct call been made. Stranger things have happened. Unfortunately it haunts me. I'm trying to put it behind me and move on but then I try to imagine how I would feel if the roles wereby BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com

I was reading a Cowboys forum and found a thread called "Blame Game" where the fans post reasons the Cowboys lost the game. Typical responses like "defense and coaching", "Linehan" (can relate to this one), "Dak", "OL", "DL", etc. This one was clearly the best of the bunch... This is sickening and it's not just isolated to sports. Unfortunately, America is becoming more and more tribal in other areas as well like politics and religion. If you're not a member of my group, you don't belong. Common decency and respect for your fellow man is non-existent in some people and it's sad.by BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com

Teams I hate: 1) Niners - IMO a Rams fan prerequisite and Jimmy G-sus has re-stoked the fire 2) Patriots - 2001 Superbowl and Tom Brady 3) Seahawks - Pete Carroll's gum chewing and I know he's talented but Russell Wilson bugs me 4) Cowboys - Micheal Irvin, Jerry Jones and the 70s. Also who says they're America's team. NOT ME!! Teams I kind of like: 1) Steelers - Well run organization.by BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com

It takes 2 to 6 weeks for sod to take root and adhere to the ground. How is this going to be playable in less than a week?by BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I remember that game. It was the first time I attended a live Rams game. If I remember correctly, the NY Giants were also undefeated at that point in the season and the 2 teams were scheduled to play the following week. All the talk was about the showdown between the undefeated 49ers and Giants. I was so happy to watch Rams rain on that parade.by BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com
...is still a competitive team and they are playing at home. IMHO, to expect to go into this game an blow them out like last year is not realistic, regardless of how well the Rams have played or how poorly the Seahawks have played up to now. We're playing a decent divisional rival on the road, in a stadium that is historically problematic for visiting teams. The Seahawks have a lot of pride, eby BoiseRam - Game Time Forum

I think the moment got too big for Cooper. In the shots of him on the sideline he looked tentative and doe-eyed. I never saw that during the regular season.by BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com
In my opinion, what separates the truly elite receivers from the rest are the 50-50 and effort balls that are thrown. Balls where both receiver and defender battle for or balls that require a little more effort to make the catch. Sammy is great on balls thrown to him when he's open and running in stride but when a ball is thrown to him in traffic or requires some adjustment, he doesn't seem goby BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I based my post on multiple scenarios that I ran on the playoff machine. I tried to be realistic in my approach but no matter how it played out, it was virtually impossible for the Rams to get the #1 seed. I thought it was odd that if the Rams beat the Eagles on Sunday and they end up in a 3 way tie with the Eagles and Saints that the Rams would have the lowest seed. I'm glad to hear the playby BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Even if the Rams win out, if they end up in a 3 way tie with any of the 3 other division leaders - Vikings, Saints and Eagles, the best they can do is #2 seed and that's if the Eagles drop 1 more game and the 3 way tie is between Vikings and Saints. What really sucks is if the Rams, Saints and Eagles all finish 13 - 3, meaning the Rams have beat both of them, the Rams still end up the 4th seed bby BoiseRam - RamsFootballFans.com
