QuoteRams43 QuoteRam_Ruler He's undersized. I think he'll bring some speed on the edge but does he play the run well? Something to keep an eye on Obo is 6’ 2” and 253 pounds. He played edge at OU and played very well, at that. He was specifically drafted for edge by the Rams. I say give him a few snaps. WTH do we have to lose? Longacre is killing us. Yep, agreed. IMO on that pick you just gotta give the defensive guy his due. He made a great play reaching back for the ball. At most one would think he'd just bat the ball away, considering his position relative to the ball. But you're right; it didn't help.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax QuoteSpeed_Kills while I do think the Saints schedule is harder... its not so by a ton the Saints will likely stumble sure and I could see that happening as soon as this week in Cincy... however Rams need to beat a pesky Seahawks team, the Chiefs, Bears on the road, and as you mentioned the Eagles who could be getting it together (lets see them SNF) the Rams need to handle their buby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I have a feeling the Rams are gonna be ultra focused for this one. The only reason I predict 20 for the Hags is because of Wilson. Rams win! :seahawksblowupby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAlbaNY_Ram I would have guessed that if I had to. Questions for everyone who watched the game: Who thought at the time that Goff should have thrown to Woods? (I know I did!) Did anyone think "hey, they came back from 21 down to tie it so it doesn't matter who Goff threw to"? I did. On third down you should always throw to or past the sticks, otherwise what's the point? That is one of the strikes against him as he tends to have frequent foot issues. I know who I'd rather have as well (hint - we do have him, lol).by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I think this is a big question most of us might have in our mind so I wanted to see what the board thought about it. Me, based on his history in KC, will vote yes even though it's not with a ton of confidence. I just hope he does, for the Rams sake.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
After 9 games Watkins is only 6 targets and 2 catches behind Cooks but is well behind in yards suggesting KC is using him more as an underneath type target. It's pretty obvious that Cooks is a deep ball threat. TDs are even.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

Frankly I was surprised it took so long for him to get torched on a long ball. It seems to happen every week. Michael Thomas owned him today. He is no shut down corner, that's for sure.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Is if the Saints come out with 6DBs as their base defense McVay better have a plan for it. It was pretty effective against us when GB ran it and it boggles my mind that we couldn't run all day against it. I think it's going to be a battle and come down to who has the ball last. QuoteRams43 QuoteLMU93 Giants, Bears, Packers, Ravens and Titans. Sigh... Man, I am dying to know the Ram reasoning behind this JB release. But we probably will never know the real reason(s). Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but... In a 4-3 the guys on the edge are considered DEs and mostly rush the passer but also can drop into coverage if that is the defensive call. In a 3-4 the 2 guys on the edge are considered OLBs and can rush or cover. With the 3-4 the offense doesn't know ahead of time which OLB will be rushing, or if neither or both will. So an edge rusher couldby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Cooks, in my opinion, did not have a good game this week, other than that great catch he had on the sideline where the throw was low. He had two other balls hit his hands that he didn't come down with. That's not to mention how his jersey was getting stretched out practically every play by Alexander. Watkins on the other hand had a great game, scoring twice. The Rams were on a bye week 8by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

What's been proven is that our defense isn't "all that." We can, and have been, scored on. We're still vulnerable to a good running game and we have consistently gotten burned on long passes. So none of that I saw yesterday was new, or humbling. GB's defense was better than I have seen them all year. Going in, I thought there was no way they could stop us. The Rams should have their way with GB's defense, but the Green Bay Rodgers will be a handful for our defensive back end. This will result in another nail biter that I don't know if my ticker can take again. Rams win, but Rodgers keeps it tight.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

After 7 games I find it interesting that Sammy is catching roughly the same percentage of targets this year with Mahommes as he did last year with Goff but he's getting significantly more targets this year. The reason for the catch percentage could be that's just him, or it could be his QB's accuracy. I happened across this article and thought it was interesting since in the 2016 draft the board was pretty split between Goff and Wentz. For the record, I was in the Wentz camp but now I'm glad we have Goff. As for the article, the "game winning drive" is a big criteria in evaluating the "eliteness" of NFL QBs and Wentz's record in that area isn't good. It looks to me like Cooks was not the first read as Goff isn't looking his way. I don't know what the routes were for all of the receivers but he looks to see if his first read opens up. But I tend to agree, he knew he only needed 2 yards and should have probably glanced over at Cooks as soon as he saw his first read covered.
