A friend of mine who is also a life long Rams fan and I are going to the game this week. We're gonna be in section 105B, row 22. R2K, if you don't mind and my friend is up to it, I'd like to try to come to your tailgate, at least for a little while to meet you and any other Herdsters that might be there. Let me know! QuoteL.A.Rams ...If McVay were capable of making adjustments... QuoteL.A.RamsIt appears to me that his time in the spotlight as an offensive genius is coming to an end. Yet we're 3-0 against those fronts in spite of McVay being "incapable" of making adjustments. Rams are in trouble...OK.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
This is a game we should dominate from start to finish. Let's get that offense on track finally!by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope you have as good a time as Gator did a couple of weeks ago!by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteSpeed_Kills yup.... let’s get after it this week! the Rams don’t throw slants much at all let alone quick ones. The Rams don’t even have a quick passing game. You like Baker had some success with the other night and what Tom Brady is an expert at Part me thinks that the Ram don’t vary their offense enough. Too simplistic and I love McVay... but where is the quick pass game? Oh wellby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
We're facing that 6-1 alignment every week now and one would think that McVay would have figured out an effective counter for it by now. I'm not saying I know how to do it but in watching that game Sunday night it looked like the middle of the field was pretty open for quick slants to a WR/TE or wheel routes to Gurley, along with just running through the A and B gaps. QuoteIowaRam and a home win against the Saints I'm OK with that As am I. Like I said, I'm not complaining. The offense just doesn't look right to me yet. Hopefully it'll get there, starting this Sunday.by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
That game last night against the Factory of Sadness was way too tight. The Brownies did come to play but still, the Rams offense just doesn't look right. Defenses are all using the Bears/Lions/Pats strategy to slow us down and for the most part it is working. 20 points against the FoS??? Goff, I thought, had his best 'accuracy' game of the season so far, in spite of the two picks. The fiby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield Reminds me of our high school uniforms. I was a freshman and we never won a game. I hated practices ( I didn't enjoy getting hit); I hated games (never got in); In my sophomore year the all whites were City Champions ( I wan't on the team because I had quit). My girlfriend broke up with me; my dog died; I smashed up my first car. I hate all white uniforms. Sounds like the lyby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams DL trucks FoS OL most of the night and collects 4 sacks after an early FoS TD that gets the home crowd (and Collnsworth) in a frenzy. They forget that there's practically the whole game left. Rams score 37 unanswered points from there. Kupp, Woods, Everett, and TG3 all with TDs. The Leg with 3 FGs. FoS scores 13 mostly garbage time points after that. QuoteSaguaro and you just let every play continue even after you honestly think it should be over, just because who knows, maybe replay will show something different... then a lot of players are going to get hurt, and pretty soon you're going to have chaos out there. QuoteL.A.Rams I have seen young men waste some of their best years chasing pipe dreams. Right or wrong is in the eye of the beholder, but being lured into the possibility of the life of a pro athlete has definitely had a negative impact on some lives. I have seen it first hand. It may have turned out to be a pipe dream, but it was the player's dream, not somebody else's. Who's doing the luriby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Kromer has earned the trust many times over. And I, too, can see the long term benefits of this strategy. But I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I’m disappointed as of right now with Demby and Evans. Sigh... I'm not disappointed in Evans at all at this point. It's just too damn early for that, but that's just me. I am disappointed in Demby though. The guy gets trucked regularlyby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
I may be in the minority but I don't mind the 4 PS games. I understand they can be boring and display some sloppy football. I also agree that they should not charge full price for tickets for these games. But, a coaching staff needs that time to evaluate and coach up these young guys. Having the 4 games gives them that time. The current CBA restricts a lot of practice time that teams usedby RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
QuotePeoriaRa Bit of a slow news day, how about we come up with some fun scenari0s that could happen in 2019, but probably won't. I'll get us started: Goff goes down with late season injury, Rams rally around Black Bortles and play good football, winning Super Bowl. Aaron Donald scores 6 touchdowns, 2 on defense and 4 lined up in a 2 RB formation in goal line situations. So who is this &by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn QuoteI think it is kind of interesting that players collectively think more highly of Goff than the media and pundits Yep it is all just opinions. But I was responding to that statement, quoted here. First off there are pundits who rank Goff higher than the less than 30% of players who vote on that NFL thing, so I still do not buy that there is any real "players v. pundits"by RamsFanSinceLA - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn QuoteRamsFanSinceLA I think it is kind of interesting that players collectively think more highly of Goff than the media and pundits and personally I would put more stock into what the players think. But that is just my opinion. But we don't know what percentage of the players voted. So this can't be "what players think." It's what "some players think." Quotezn QuoteRams43 However... I do think that rankings by players or coaches would likely be far more bias-free than those of media types and certainly fans. And I will say this. While trying to distinguish between #6 through #12 involves some hair splitting, don’t you think? I don't agree that as a whole group, "media types" are biased. Quotezn Quotemax To me, there is a clear major disconnect between what the players think and what the national media thinks about Goff. That’s my point here. I know. My point to you is that it's a stretch to claim we know what players as a group think. That's a bit arbitrary. I don't think there's any hard and fast or real distinction here. QuoteAtlantic Ram Goff in his first year under McVay did pretty well and he was considered by many a bust. Bortles has taken a team deep into the playoffs if I am not mistaken. I like preseason because it gives you a chance to get an early look at the rookies. I like to have an idea of what we have waiting in the wings. Also, this year especially, like you mentioned, getting a look at Bortles. No, he is not a great QB but I think he is a huge improvement over Mannion. Quotemerlin He's a top offensive mind, sure. But he's also hungry to improve and learn and build a deeper knowledge of the game. He has surrounded himself with top coaches that keep him grounded and who are teaching him. And that's the thing about him IMO... He's not an egomaniac the way a lot of top NFL minds are.
