I had no idea they went to the TE's that many times. Maybe there is something in the Panthers defense they saw and liked as far as mismatches.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Than all of the things you mention. They don't play the pass well at all and at best get moderate pressure on opposing QB's. Maybe it's a good time to let Goff play.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
But I don't know if he is or isn't qualified to judge what's going wrong in the run game. IMO there are a fw things. The OL, Boras quitting on it as fast as Martz used to, and Gurley seems to be less explosive than last year. Like he's tired or lethargic. More Benny is what I would do if I was the OC. And more of the sneaky sweeps to Austin involving Gurley. Something needs to spark theby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
They aren't trying it seems, and those are numbers that Gurley should have by halftime or the end of the third Q. Boras is flat quitting on the run game it seems.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
It's a remix. That's why Hard Knocks is a loaded diaper. And that wasn't even broadcast.........it was a mashup if you know what that is.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Boras is giving up on the run game to fast maybe..........by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Boras seems to give up on the run game as easily as Martz. I don't know why but even in close games he opts to call pass plays, without play action. No reason to have the pass-run ration out of whack like it was today. At home too..........by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
And frankly Keenum is a good backup, but still he IS a backup. And today he was good enough to win the game with. But LK took 4-5 points off the board with that really bad drop. That could have been the win. This team needs good QB play and it will be very, very good. Despite the whining about everything else, it's the QB play.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
3rd and Goal at CAR 7 (8:11 - 4th) (Shotgun) C.Keenum pass incomplete short left to L.Kendricks That TD and a 2 pt conversion puts the Rams on top. Was it 10-3 at that time? Or am I confused. Either way that ball was RIGHT there and he muffed it. It';s an EASY catch. Kendricks is as responsible for the loss as anyone else on the team. That is a terrible, terrible drop.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Keenum. Just sayin'by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
It's Fisher, Keenum, Gurley, Boras.......alrighty.......... But NOT the guy who dropped the potential go ahead score? Forget the 5 or whatever drops, the poor run game and all the rest........that was a critical play to make. That's what wins, or loses games. Mistakes happen all throughout an NFL game and at the end of most games plays get made or don't get made. Most NFL games are won in tby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com

Truth and accuracy never matter on message boards. ....... it's only three games in a row it's not a career yet.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Other than to make YOU happy? If he played tomorrow what does it VALIDATE??? That he was the right choice? That Fisher knows what he is doing? That he was worth the draft picks given up? No, none of those things. So take a breath and see how it plays out. Screaming and kicking over and over on a message board won't change a thing.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
I posted this on another board. This isn't the entire post because thee were a few other thoughts that aren't meaningful to a response to your post. I don't disagree with what you are saying, but this is worth discussing IMO. It's just too easy to say "Goff sucks and that's why the Rams aren't winning". I'm not accusing you of saying that here, but it's said a lot on message boards.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
29th in total yards 23rd in yards per game 21st in YPA 20th in TD's tied with 6 other players. One of whom is Case Keenum. His rating is strong for one reason. Interceptions. He's only thrown one so far this year. That may be the only thing Bradford does well, in every other way he is average to below average. But if you want to post some real data to support the argument that QB'by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
It's worth taking a look at the last few years to see how they have gotten better. At one point I was complaining louder than anyone about the "hidden yardage" battle and the Rams losing it big time. Penalties and bad special teams play adds up fast. This will be an interesting discussion towards the end of the season and in the off season.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
And if you look at the last few years they have shown improvement from the miserable penalty machine they used to be. NFL Penalty Tracker It's a good site and I have looked it over a handful of times. Tons of info and it helps the discussion when it drifts to "we are the most penalized team" thing which fans of most every team seem to say.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
That's half of the answer, and that's also something politicians do. The correct answer is "none, as of yet".by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
16th in total penalty yard 11th in accepted penalties. 10th in total penalties called, accepted and declined. That's for you RFIP since you want to count them :) Not great, but better than it was earlier in the year. I expect them to be middle of the pack overall just like last year. By the way they have consistently improved in many penalty categories over the last 4 seasons. Iby LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Cuz there are other things IMO.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
Or more, at a good backup rate of pay. Goff will probably get dinged up, almost all QB's do. Having a good backup that can contribute and that knows the system is very, very valuable. If Keenum ends up leaving I'll have a bigger problem with that than with Austin's contract.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
How far back do you want to go? We can make a list and talk about the guys who started right out of the gate and how they fared over the next few years. It'll be interesting to see the list of guys that were drafted in the first round to be franchise saviors. You're going to be surprised at the names one the list. And if you want to we can extend it to 1st and 2nd rounders.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com

And the pimp outfits are not endearing him to anyone. Before the season when he said "I want to be known for my hats" I was thinking to myself "You mean you want to be known by your ego". I can't stand this guy.by LesBaker - RamsFootballFans.com
