If anything it might have been better. There is still time for them to do a lot, short and long term, with the Watkins pick since they haven't used it yet. It's only a difference of about 30 picks. QuoteRams43 Look, this Ram schedule is no day at the beach, y’all. I agree. Plus it has several games against teams that either fell off last year and could re-assert themselves, or were emerging and ought to be better than last year. Both parameters combined, I think these are those teams: Panthers (7-9 in 2018) Browns (7-8-1 in 2018) SF twice (4-12 in 2018) (add the “division gby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRampage2K- yes he was worth a second!! We went from laughing stock to leagues best offense And that was not because of Watkins. As he has proven since the Rams. They went from a 7-9 level young team that suffered through a move and so went 4-12 (rarely do teams win after moving) to a winning team because they already had this: Goff, Gurley, Hav, Saffold, Donald, Brockers, Barron,by zn - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotebigjimram21 While I agree they are "new" at this , didn't it take Roseman from 2010 to 2017, 7 years to get to the Super Bowl(of course they did win it, but game could have gone either way, like the Ram/Pats game if only they made more plays on offense). All I'm saying is to get to the SB by year 2 together they are doing a great job, agree they haven't always hit on every moby zn - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteJamesJM McVay and company have instilled me a very positive belief in their ability to not only draft but also to acquire via other means personnel who can contribute, and contribute significantly. QuoteDavid Deacon I think there are obvious areas where we need depth even where we have 2 year players ready to step into larger roles but if we take a ILB in the first round that may be a reflection on Kiser. QuoteDavid Deacon Now there are some 3rd and 4th contracts that have been used to push money back into later years such as with Drew Brees that does inflate the value of those contracts. In those situations I agree the new contract may look bigger because it reflects near term cap relieve which is spread out over the new contract. Wilson's and Rogers contracts though do not fit that scenario anby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDavid Deacon I bet the price for Goff, Prescott and Wentz will now be over 28M per year when they sign. Rogers set the Mark and now Wilson exceeded that and that is the market price. Just because it is a 2nd or 3rd contract does really factor in that much. If they fail to reach an agreement the Franchise tag is the same regardless of what contract it is. Let teams bid on QB in an open maby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDavid Deacon Wow what a contract and I don't even think he is one of the top 5 QB in the NFL. This will have a big impact on extensions for Goff, Prescott and Wentz. The price for QB's has jumped significantly If you look at how contracts go up, they are not all the same. 2nd contracts, at all positions, tend to be slotted a certain way. QuoteLMU93 I think he was fighting a shoulder injury most of the year that happened in the Minnesota game. But I agree he was good in 2017. I just think overall he is better suited inside. QuoteAndre Forbes@andref1989 Given the above? How frequently do QBs in *these* categories make the playoffs in real life? Elite QBs make the playoffs ~29% of the time 2.25x more often than they should, assuming all QBs are equal. But what about the effect of paying said QB? He was fine at DE in 2017. In fact in a lot of respects it's his best year as a pro. For whatever reason he had an off year in 2018, but I don't think that had anything to do with which position he played. QuoteLMU93 Blythe isn't a top-tier guard. But I think he's a solid starter and he's still young enough that it's also likely he hasn't peaked yet. QuoteLMU93 I agree. He was far, far from a liability. Had a couple ups and downs later in the year but it is true wondering if part of it was helping Sullivan (who clearly declined). Quotecool_hand_luke Why pass rush and not coverage? The Patriots are driving the point home that pass rush can be manufactured and coverage is where you need players imo.
