It will be interesting to see how the Rams come off their bye week on a 3 game losing streak. Carolina is gaining some momentum and confidence. Rams will have their opportunities but they won`t capitalize and Panthers win and cover the 3 point spread. Things will get even uglier on this board after this Sunday and losing 4 in a row. Maybe they can steal a defensive battle in NJ the followby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com

He had nothing to @#$%& about, but still @#$%&. Lots of legitimate calls against him yesterday. He should keep his pie hole shut and watch the film first. He`s not making any friends with the officials and they won`t forget. I can better understand where Cam is coming from and at least he speaks with more respect. And to think that a few weeks ago many were saying they were possibly the best team in the NFL. Crazy league. Have to think Philly exposed Norv Turner`s offense. Lets see if Turner and Bradford can turn this around.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator ALL are quite winnable, two are at home. If we see a roll over, especially by the D vs any of these next three?? Fisher is done, IMO. The road game at the Jets??? They BEEEETTER win!!!!!!!!! I'll be there!!!! They should win at least one of those three games. Even at 4-6 there are still 6 games left. I`ll be at the Jets game as well. I believe Wentz would be starting by now but the Rams offense would neither be a bottom 5 worse offense or top 10 best offense in the NFL. I`d say they would rank closer to 20th in total offense.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com

No way they can generate enough offense to beat Bama. Speight is not very good and would get exposed badly by the Bama defense. Washington would have a better chance of knocking off Bama IMO..by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield If I had to guess-and it would be a guess-I would say Fisher wanted to use most of the choices to do what was necessary to free up Gurley-meaning the O line. He knew that there were plenty of good qbs in the draft that could be taken with any of the choices at there respective slots. That would not shock me in the least. But he is a good soldier if nothing else and that is somethiby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotepromomasterj I do agree with his points. Sad that even Michael Irvin can see what Fisher can't What Irvin isn't taking into account is that Fisher may need to save his job and win as many games as possible before the end of the season. If Fisher feels Keenum would give him a better chance to win even one more game than Goff, why would he put Goff in if its his job on the line (not thatby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
He`s done a tremendous job with sophomore QB Jake Browning, who is one of the top ranked QB`s in the country. But yet another guy that may be very hard to pry away from the college game. And a name that may not be sexy enough for Stan Kroenke and the LA market. It will be interesting see if Petersen and Harbaugh square off against each other in the FBS playoffs. Both offensive minded coachesby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM Is Harbaugh like the ideal of virtue and morality? I don't know the guy well... so you may be right... excuse me for being somewhat dubious, however. - JamesJM He`s having so much fun in Michigan right now and loves his players and coaching staff. Family and kids are situated and happy. He is building something very nice in Michigan and keeps recruiting those studs from NJ ;)by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
It was only a sample size, but I definitely didn't like some of his body language I saw from him in preseason. I don`t see him as being as resilient as a Carson Wentz. I hope his mental toughness and confidence is better than what I perceive it to be. Add that to Jeff fisher`s coaching staff and I think he has at least a 50% of busting. I sure hope I`m wrong. QuoteJamesJM But my money is on a $10,000,000,000 deal per year, or even over 3 years, brings Harbaugh to LA. - JamesJM First Fisher would need to be let go, and next Kroenke would have to make the offer. I say if it happens after this season, Kroenke will NOT be able to buy Harbaugh no matter how much he offers him.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM there's a $ amount that would make him change his mind. It won't happen... but it would if the number was right. Believe me, he wont be persuaded by the dirty dollar. Not everyone is for sale.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteTonyHunter87 I would love to have him but I just don't think that's very realistic. Even Stan Kroenke`s deep pockets won`t be able to buy Harbaugh. He LOVES Michigan. Trust me. This comes from ties I have that are very close to Harbaugh himself. In the distant future, who knows if he changes his mind.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
I personally believe Fisher can go as bad as 7-9 again and keep his job. I`m guessing this is more than likely what happens. 8-8 and he`s guaranteed to be back on an extension IMO. It would seem absolutely insane if he kept his job with a 10 loss or more season. My vote is 10 losses. If he loses 10 games and is back, I`m officially giving up on this team.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield Right now I'm focusing on this last draft. Simply because of the "big move back to L.A." thingy/ OK, so just the Goff pick over the last 5 years. I do agree with you on that. Would love to know if Fisher wanted to keep the picks? Would he rather have had Wentz over Goff if he did favor the trade up? Did he have another a QB targeted without a trade up somewhere inby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield Yeah-I get that. I'm in no position to grade the HC when it comes to his ability to coach, etc. He may be the worst coach of all time and he may be a good coach. I just don't know. But what I do believe is that fans like you and I hate the word organizational when it comes to fault. I'm no psychologist but I think its because organizational means the entire "organization"by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield See- I don't necessarily believe this is all on the HC as many do. I believe the personnel decisions (see above) that got them to this place were organizational and everyone was either voluntarily on board or involuntarily on board. As far as Fisher's ability to be a HC I have no idea. That is beyond my pay grade. Aside from Jared Goff, which I do 100% believe was organizationalby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not to toot my own horn, but I`m getting pretty good at predicting Rams W/L records before the season starts. Nailed the 7-9 last year. Or is it I`m not that good and Fisher`s teams are just that predictable? I`m thinking its the latter. :confusedby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDeadpool For one, we all (well most of us) know you cannot trust a thing that comes out of Fisher's mouth. Second, I have a feeling there is a contract with Fisher's name on it if he meets certain conditions. read:wins And Fisher feels he either goes into 1)play the rookie mode 2) Stay with Keenum and try and win now to save his job. I don't think Fisher feels he can do both (play theby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams had him in pre-draft. Kills me the Rams didn't make a move for a QB in that 2014 draft with Bradford coming off the ACL surgery and them having all the ammo in the world to trade up and down with those two 1st round picks, #2 overall and #13 overall. They almost had Zack Martin in a trade up to #17 with the Ravens, and did trade up a few spots in round 2 for Joyner, just 5 picks after Carr wby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
That being said.... A) I don't think Petersen wants to leave the college game and would leave $ on the table. b) Kroenke will hire an NFL re-tread over a college coach. He wants a marketable name with a pedigree.by PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
Ultimately winning will equal more $$$$$ for Kroenke, so yeah for anyone to think otherwise would seem a little foolish. And lets not forget his ego, lol. It`s similar to what I hear some say about Jerry Jones. Jones wants a winner as much as anyone. $$$$ & ego. Now if Kroenke didn't want or just didn't care about winning in St. Louis in order to help execute his move, that's another tby PaulButcher59 - RamsFootballFans.com
