Quotemtramfan He gave Cam Akers a second chance - or three - until he wiped himself out. He gave VAn Jefferson every chance to improve, had a good coach coach him up. and finally trade him. He didn't kickeither player to the curb prematurely. McVays attitude, if I can guess at it, seems to be, "I'll give you every chance to succeed, all the support that I can to help you succeed, and it'sby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteStafford9 If AJ was in this years draft having the year he had against NFL competition he would a first or second rounder. If we sign him to a one year deal and he has a monster year he is going to cost us a lot more. Exactly, agree 100%!by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
It would definitely be worth kicking the tires, Caley should be familiar having coached him at New England. I'm not too familiar with him, but he had pretty good stats last year.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe Stafford can help out by adjusting his salary to help keep him. It's not like he hasn't make made plenty of money over the years. I would think his goal is to stay healthy so he can go after another Lombardi!by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com

Many D coaches like to have a strong rotation on the D line to keep them fresh. And I imagine as Donald gets older, he will need more breaks to be effective and special. Turner would probably take his position when he is out. But a person that could play nose and 5T might be a better fit.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
For what Beckham probably wants, I would rather have Gaines back! He was always one of my favorites to watch - what a motor!by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJYB Good -- keep him in the AFC and away from Seattle. Ah man, I loved us going against him! Steel sharpens and steel. Beating him just feels that much better.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteIdahoRam I dynamic H-back I think could fit into McVays system really well. For Sure! Add a new dimension in the in the red zone!by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
"Bottom line is he has played well enough to return and he gives them flexibility and- at the very worst- good depth". For sure, and as mtramfan stated, "he progressed and learned a lot through the season". Many if not most first year Left Tackles have an up and down year struggling at times. Plus the guard next to him was a rookie and first year starter as well, an off sby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Ya, if it get's dragged out, definitely a concern. Hopefully McVay has a plan. Staley could be the answer, but I would have some concerns that really need looked into. Our D was great with him as DC, but why the struggles at San Diego? Just not a head coach guy at least yet? Have OC caught up to the scheme? Remember Ejiro Evero and Joe Barry were on staff and both went on to be DC, how imby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com

I really like what I see out of Davis Allen, I think he is at least worth a 4th round value. Keep developing him and pair him with another good young prospect this draft for coach Caley develop.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Damn, that's a lot of Money! I didn't know that quality Guards were going that high. I think BeeBe will be a top Guard down the road like Avila and could be there in the 2nd for us.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Great Point, we definitely need to. And give credit to McVay doing a good job adding coaches to his team. I have a feeling the staff is a huge part of their success. I am excited to see what they can do with another off season.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams43 quote: "LT probably is going to be our biggest need, along with Pass rusher. I have to review the tape but looked like jackson was struggling out there. Until we get a dominant LT and edge guy we are not going to be in the heavy weight class." I feel like Jackson is playing pretty well, especially considering he is a young player in his first year starting at LT. It usuallby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Ya, that's what I was thinking to. He played pretty well in that last pre-season game, getting all the snaps at LT. I have always thought of him as more of RT guy. Ya, I hope they move Boom back to tackle and let he, Acuri, and Anchrum battle it out. And move Thomas back to guard and duke it out with Dotson. Man, I sure hope Jackson isn't injured too bad, he had his hands full with Hendriby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
Ya, the new record they set is they Rushed for over 350 yds and Passed for over 350 yds in one game. Pretty amazingby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope we are seeing the beginnings of solid tandem on the left side of the line for many years! Avila and Jackson seem to make a great pair - AJ is probably a little better than the average starting LT, but I love his tenacity and relentlessness, finishing blocks till the whistle or till his guy is on the ground and just wears the D-linemen out in the 4th quarter! And Avila so strong and smooby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteLMU93 What does Anchrum need to do? Maybe Dotson ends up starting later on at RG. Who knows. But until he knows the system I am totally comfortable starting Anchrum. The kid has earned it. So curious what happens the next 24 hours. Noteboom could be starting at RG by week or off the roster. And there probably isnt an in between. Wow, that was quite the release move by Puka! I guess if you do it quick enough you can get away with it. It's so fun to see Tutu just smokin the dbs. I bet he is pretty damn scary to try and cover.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 I really like the duo of Jackson and Avila on the left side- especially in the running game. Anchrum has to be the RG at least for now. You might say "by default" but reality is he beat out Bruss and I still think Noteboom has only been moved there because they realized he's going to be a swing backup and want RG to be one of those spots since Bruss is now exclusively RT.by fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
During the game, Andrew asked Whitworth what his thoughts were with the competition between Noteboom and Jackson. Of course he spoke highly of both of them but really talked up Jackson saying how hard he works and definitely becoming a strong leader. He also mentioned something like he is a big dude and presence on the OL. Jackson definitely seems to be endorsed by Big Whit! That was definitelby fullcurl - RamsFootballFans.com
