This is why I believe the NFL should adopt the NBA's system of a draft lottery for the worst teams (say all teams with less than 4 or 5 wins). So that teams cannot purposefully tank their season to get the top draft pick.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
It's OK. You're not the only one getting old and senile.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
I think they should do a draft lottery for all teams with less than 5 wins. That should be enough disincentive for teams not to suck for Luck.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
The refs had a chance to screw the Rams and they took it. The NFL parity police in action. Even with it being obvious that Hekker made the 1st down on replay. @#$%& the NFL. @#$%& Goodell and the refs.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
Joyner and Peters are the biggest fails on this D right now. I don't know what's happened to Joyner. He has played so much better than he's playing right now. He misses so many open field tackles that is killing the D.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
The Vikings game spoiled me. I want to see Goff and the Rams O perform like that every game.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah. They need to enforce at least the obvious and flagrant holds where the DL has beaten the OL and is being held from behind or the side while the QB still has the ball in his hands (they call that maybe 25% of the time on Rams opponents). If they won't it just makes a mockery of the rules. They should just go ahead and legalize all other OL holds during passing plays (i.e. bear hug is OK aby Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
The refs were terrible and missed numerous calls, but I think they got that one right. One of the few. Of course it was in Denver's favor so not surprising.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
It's not like he hasn't been blitzed. He's been blitzed. I don't remember any long down-field passing plays he's completed while being blitzed (well 1 to Kupp, if that was a blitz), but he usually just screens to his outlet, usually Gurley, and usually for nice gains.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
That's the Barnwell argument. It's interesting, but not realistic, IMO. Unless you know there is a perpetual supply of quality QBs coming into the league, it will just get everyone fired when you pick one that busts. And, IMO, it's not good for team morale. But, also, QBs need to start thinking about their team as a whole and how much 30-35 M/year may affect their team in the future. I hopeby Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
The 99 team definitely felt more magical because it was so unexpected they would be so good, especially after Green went down in the pre-season. It's like if today's Bucanneers and Fitz were to become nearly unstoppable this year and win the SB.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
KW was not rookie of the year. He was on the Rams in 98.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
That's what I've been thinking. With our D Goff may not get many, if any, chances for late game heroics. He looks so much better this season at attempting/making close thread-the-needle passes. Practicing against our D has likely helped him with that. And practicing 2-minute drills against our D will have him ready for late comeback wins, IMO, if he gets the chance.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
Don't they still offer the streaming service for college students for $100 a season? I did that last year using my daughters info to sign up. Well, my daughter is no longer in school so I'm planning on getting the info from my future son-in-laws sister for this year. Hope it still works. Great value IMO for only a hundred bucks.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
1st 4 years all guaranteed. Can be cut after that with no dead money. However, there will probably be a signing bonus, so there could be 3 years of signing bonus dead money if cut after 4. Hopefully AD is still kicking ass at that time and will be worth keeping instead of cutting or restructuring. Snead said they wanted AD to be a Ram a long time. 4 or 5 more years is not a long enough time.by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com

Good news. Now get AD done!!!by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 If AD demands a trade, I think that the Rams trade him if, and only IF they think it’s in their own best interests. I'm not certain, but I'll bet anyone $10 that if the Rams tag AD for the 2019 season that AD will not sign a contract and will not play. So the Rams would still have to assign $11 million (or whatever the DT tag amount is) against the cap even if AD does not play. Ifby Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
IMO AD won't play under the tag, so that is not an option the Rams have. They either get him signed to an extension or this is his last season as a Ram. They can tag him next year but only as part of a plan to trade him (where they won't get what he is worth in trade value). They also then risk not being able to sign Cooks since they won't have a tag they can use on him unless/until they get Aby Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
IMO AD has the leverage. He would be so underpaid on tags (for at least the 1st 2 tag years) vs. his value that it would make sense to hold out vs risking injury. He could very well hold out an entire season, force a trade more on his terms than the Rams terms, and still be better off financially. It will be bad optics for the Rams, and not without consequence in the locker room, to try to @#$by Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
With the Rams being up against the cap for this year, how can they extend AD to pay him more for this season? I've been assuming that an extension would only pay AD slightly, if any, more than the 5th year option was already going to pay him this year, but with big increases for the next few seasons and lots of guaranteed $$s. In that case AD would be missing out on the guarantees if he doesn'tby Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
Since the game is at the normal starting time for Sunday early games (i.e. the 1st London Prime Time game), they shouldn't need to worry too much about adjusting their body clocks (i.e. they can stay up late / wake up late local time and still stay on the same circadian schedule they are used to). And they only have to do it for 2 days, so they can avoid having to adjust their body clocks if theby Ken - RamsFootballFans.com
