Re: Is anyone really shocked?

Not sure how to answer. I started to get a prickly feeling about the Rams right before the playoffs when Gurley's knee became an issue. McVay kept saying it wouldn't be an issue, and that not only would Gurley be ready to go but that he'd be a featured player in the upcoming games. Well, we all saw how THAT panned out. I began to lose some respect for McVay and Snead because of the things they said and didn't say about Gurley's situation. I also figured we'd be in trouble when we lost Saffold. Overall, I no longer trust McVay and I can no longer stomach listening to him speak. His genius was fleeting. It makes me wonder if it was ever there in the first place or was he just lucky last season?

In short, I'm not surprised that the Rams have fallen, but I AM shocked at how far in such a short amount of time.
