of a phrase, adage, that is tough to define... not sure anyone can really do it justice... and that is:
"He's a football player"... I've been hearing that my entire life... and I can't define it, well anyway, but I know exactly what it means to coaches, players, fans in the know... it means a player who has something that goes beyond just 'talent'... and 'athleticism'... and 'smarts'... or any other attribute we use to assess players. Maybe it's most closely defined by saying...
"He loves the game". Many have thru years... and it stands out, but it's not at all common, at least in the way Kupp displays it.
