Why is TA in base offense?

I say again, when the Rams have only 2 WR's in the game why would one of them ever be TA? I prefer Britt and Quick. In fact I would prefer Rams use a Britt, Quick, 2 TE set predominantly. Or give the Pharaoh a chance to show he can get it done because TA has proved that he can't.
