Actually you're getting by cheaper than I am... that because of my Internet connection, which costs a fortune because I'm in a very rural area... no cable, no DSL, the only option I have for Internet, (other than Satellite which would not work for me because they allow very little data per month), is microwave... or 'wireless' as they call it. The company has a monopoly and they know it... the cost is exorbitant.
When we last talked about this I checked your area and Wireless IS available but I did not check the pricing. It may be cheaper, it may not. Here's a link where you can type in your address and get a price quote for ONE of the fixed wireless companies, there are others.
Rise BroadbandAs I said before, however... you really should check with someone who has before you consider getting it. ISP's are notorious for 'lying' about the speeds you'll get. If you're going to use it for TV I'd guess you'll need at least 10mbps, that because it takes 5 to 6mbps to stream HD without constant paused to buffer.
