I used Gillette for YEARS..

In fact, only razor I ever used.. until about 6 months ago.. I had just popped some caffeine and was surfing facebook (bad combo) and saw and ad for Defender Razors and clicked on it.. It was, like $5 to try and they claimed they ruled, so what the heck? For $5 lets see how much they rule..

Razor came in with 4 blades.. very lightweight - kind of a stiff rubber material.. had a hole in the handle with a suction cup gizmo to stick on the wall that you can attach the handle to.. Immediately turned off by the fact they had no lubricating strips, but gave it whirl..

Ok, I'm hooked.. very smooth shave, only 3 blades fairly spaced apart so easy to clean the gunk out, can shave fast and somewhat aggressively and have never once cut myself, and a blade lasts for 2-3 months.. probably longer, but I just swap them out.. I did contact them about the lubricating strip and they said most people tend to throw the blades out when the strip dies after a week or so, so they got rid of it.. Anyways, I like it,,
