my nephew works down in LA as a sound engineer. Well, part time he does. He has done a few sound tracks for some low budget films. Anyway my point is:

He can program every one of those devices at the speed of light. We've tried to use him a few times but there is a HUGE problem... he is 110% into 'tech' sound... so every time he would set anything for us it sounded like tech. And it's not that he can't do ANY sound, he can... he just won't. One of those, "Oh you guys will learn to love it" things... much like Demoff and the new Ram's uni's.

Oh, and another bit of info... just found this out yesterday. One of my son-in-law's comes from a VERY dysfunctional family... hasn't spoken to his Dad and sole sibling, a brother, in perhaps 20 years. BUT... he recently made contact with some semi-distant family, that he knew as a kid, and made an amazing discovery... I think you'll like this - - -

This guy is married to one of my son-in-laws relatives.. ( don't ask me how they are related, I don't know)... but apparently this guy is a 'super star' in the music field. He makes videos for recording artists... and NOT just any ole' artists... I'm talking about the BIGGEST in the field.
