Back in the cattle driving days, guys would be driving their cattle to market and come across someone else's personal property that might stretch for miles.. So, instead of spending two days driving the cattle around the property, they'd cut the barb wire fences and just drive the cattle right on through.. So, it became a law that it was illegal to have wire cutters in your pocket to keep people from doing that.. So, a law that might have been relevant in the 1800's is still on the books today..
