hell were they looking for in me? They were supposed to be looking for blood clots, but maybe they just wanted to slime me all up for nothing.. 
What you describe sounds like what they do every now and then for my neck issue.. Hook up a huge machine and then stick needle in my finger and work their way up to my neck..hurts like hell, sore for two weeks afterward.. when they insert the needle, they kind of move it around and you can hear the scratching sounds through the machine.. its loads of fun..
