Football is a contact sport and masks are not going to help. Stupid Idea. You need to test the players and then let them play. They are young healthy guys and while they make get sick they are at a very limited health risk. Playing football is much more dangerous than the virus.

It is the older population that is at risk. Maybe the dopes that let people with the virus back into nursing homes should fix that problem so we can get back to football, baseball and Basketball with proper precautions for the fans. Keep the at risk population away from the games, temperature checks, masks and Sanitation stations should do the trick.
