I had one before, I don't mind them.
This time though it was a bit harrowing.
I went in to see why I was having back/nerve problems. I walk with a cane now and even have handicapped parking (thank goodness). Turns out I have spinal stenosis, which can lead to both muscle and nerve issues (the nerves in question have to do with my right arm, which occasionally will just go to sleep, ie. tingling numbing if you know what I mean).
So this time, to do the MRI, I had to be positioned in a certain way. Something under my neck and under my arms.
And it turns out it was the single worst position possible for the condition I have. So for 15 minutes I was getting muscle cramps and pain and numbness, but had to lie still.
I know worse things can happen to a person, but...you will not be able to talk me into doing that again real soon.
