Heard this morning that all elective surgeries and health screenings (i.e., mammograms, colonoscopies, etc) should be cancelled/postponed. My annual mammogram and follow-up doctor appointment were scheduled for this coming Thursday. I just called and cancelled. I was asked if I wanted to reschedule. I said, "Of course, but in light of the coronavirus, I don't know when that will be. I'm gonna have to wait and see. When they give the all clear to resume those kinds of things, I'll make an appointment". Frank and I are preparing to hunker down at home as much as possible. I just got new eyeglasses last week, and I can't see out of them. They hurt my eyes and make my right eye water. When I put my old glasses on, not only do I see better but I get instant relief. I really think the prescription is wrong. I spent $1100 to get new prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses. I shouldn't have eye strain with a new prescription. Whether I'm staying at home or venturing out, I need to be able to see clearly. I have GOT to get this taken care of. Hopefully I can and if so... after that... other than he occasional run to the grocery store or pharmacy, I'm in for however long they tell us we need to be.
