So I am almost 60, living with my 13 year old son. A year ago in January I found this recipe for a "flu bomb" - I swear the woman describing this is an Amish or Pennsylvania Dutch person (which adds credit in my book). Anyway the solution really helps clear up the lungs which is where this virus supposedly attacks. There has been a run on raw ginger here in Seattle, BTW.

Against the corona virus, the best offense is a good defense. Improve your immune system to counteract it. Here's what works for a single Dad and his teenager: The “Flu Bomb”. It’s an organic “tea” that has been successful in fighting the normal flu for us. Cured my then-12-year-old son's flu last year and he never missed a day of school. Flu Bomb Ingredients, for a single cup:
1. Juice of a whole lemon
2. 1 or 2 cloves garlic - pressed
3. 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
4. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
5. 1 T cider vinegar (this was my addition - original Flu Bomb didn't include)
6. 1.5 T honey
Add all ingredients into a coffee mug, add 4oz of hot simmering water (I pour over the honey). If it's too tough to get down, add more honey or subtract some red pepper next time. Suggest drinking every 12 or 24 hours for 3 or 4 days. Great natural organic ingredients. We are taking this proactively, every other day. Stay healthy and strong!
