I have never had much luck with the 'paid' email providers....... BUT.. haven't used them for years so no idea how they work today. I have NEVER used the one, (email), provided by my ISP... it's crap. I have several domains in which I can use a personal email address.. AND have them set up, but I don't use them because they don't work well.
I actually like Gmail and Apple's iCloud... I've used both for years now and I have trained them to where I get very little spam... plus both offer email aliases which can be very handy.
