..and every time you call them, you hafta go through the same ordeal of getting past the robots and listening to all their hints before you even get a chance to say anything.. Then they make you type in your security number, after verifying your name and address and phone number..
then you get to talk to someone, who immediately asks you your name, address, phone number, and security code.. wait - haven't I already given that info twice?
So, we also have phone service with spectrum.. here's the kicker.. every technician I talk to does the same exact thing.. They say, "let me zap your modem from here" which causes it to reboot.. Well, when you reboot the modem, your call gets dropped because the phone also goes through the modem..
So, every technician INSISTS on zapping the modem, which means I get hung up on, the zapping the modem never works, and I hafta call back and go through the entire process again..
..and here's the REAL beauty of it.. while another technician is trying to figure out why I had no internet, no email, or anything else, he keeps telling me, "I can sell you a backup plan and hotspot that will keep you online whenever your internet goes out"
I'm like, WTF? I'm paying $300 a month for your service and if it ever worked, I wouldn't NEED a backup.. THEY should supply the backup since you pay the entire bill no matter how much their service goes down.. and beleive me, it goes down more than a cheap hooker..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
