I don't think it's a big problem here either....

because we have 'divisions', (you probably do as well)... ALL the above pertains to the top, or Division 1, HS's. Obviously there is the question of WHO should be in Division 1 in the first place.

AND... even though Kerman, (my grandson's HS), isn't involved there ARE still problems.... politics get involved. Teams get shuffled in divisions every year and NOT based on school population, (which I think is a good thing). For example... a school near here, (Chowchilla, 21Dog will know them), had a string of EXCELLENT years... even though they are a small HS, smaller than Kerman I think... SO... the 'powers that be' bumped them up a division. Now they can barely compete.. to me that's getting penalized for being successful.

The whole situation is complex and I don't have the answers... but I like that it's being discussed, at least by a few. - JamesjM
