sell my guns, that is. Most of them are 'keepsakes'... and belonged to my Dad and my Grandfather. They've fired their last rounds. I've never had many handguns... when I was growing up 'hunting' provided our food.. this thru dang near the 70's. So shotguns, rifles.... first 'handgun' I ever bought was a Ruger 6 Shooter and that was simply for fun, target shooting.
My grandfather's sideXside holds the 'place of honor'... but there is nothing special about it other than sentimental value, it's not a collectors item that is. It was all he could afford back in the very early 1900's. I've got my grandfather's pocket watch as well... worth next to nothing because, once again, it was all my grandfather could afford and thus a 'common' and not very distinctive model... except to me, of course. - JamesM
