Two actors in that film caught my attention... Ray McKinnon... I had seen him before but couldn't place where, for a while... then it came to me.. Apollo 13.
And Jon Bernthal.... but Jon stunned me only by luck, I'm not talking about his acting here. Not that he wasn't good... what I mean is... he came on screen and I KNEW... knew for a FACT... he had to be Fred Ward's son.. the resemblance is uncanny... so much so that I never doubted it. My wife actually thought it WAS Fred Ward.... but I explained to her that Fred is old now.
So here's my state of mind... Bernthal IS Fred Ward's son... that's a sure thing... but I hadn't seen Jon in anything else and wondered why... so I looked him on on IMDB to see what he had been in, and read his bio. He's not Fred Ward's son. No relation, apparently. His Dad was a lawyer, or something. Well that was impossible, couldn't be, yet there it was in black and white.
So my theory: Jon Bernthal's Mom slept with Fred Ward. I'm convinced of it. - JamesJM
