The First Wave: The D-Day Warriors Who Led the Way to Victory in World War II by Alex Kershaw.

For those who already know a lot about D-Day, this book might not be too revealing. Conversely, for someone like me, who knows embarrassingly little about D-Day, it is engrossing and informative.
