I couldn't handle any more torture, pain, rape. I gave it my best... got about 25% into it but the death, pain, and destruction was never ending.

So I went to Kindle and began shopping for a new novel.... chose a Hillerman Navajo mystery but only to get me 'to' the next novel. Not that I don't like Hillerman... I do.

I browsed classics, sci fi, historical fiction and non-fiction, westerns, and several others but nothing jumped out at me. I'd prefer a hard sci-fi right now... I'm in the mood... but, and to me anyway, the Kindle Book store is difficult to navigate. Which brings up:

I've noticed that Kindle is pushing, vigorously, and I don't know the right term for these... books that are user submitted, I think? Not well known authors... and they are intermingled with the 'known' authors/titles so that the only 'give-away' is the price... which is $0 for one of these, what I'm calling, 'user submitted' books.

What I should actually do is got to my bookcase(s) and find one of the several books I bought and never opened. laughing smiley
