because I love all food.
I can toot my own horn in this reply because I am NOT one of those.... well, with one caveat. What I mean is... I never insist anyone eat a certain food... if they say they don't like it.. more for me.
I can't understand why people do that... but MOST do.
The one caveat... kids. Little kids. Because when my kids, grandkids, said they don't like it what they really mean is that they don't want it because they've never tried it.
Texture can be distasteful... shrimp don't bother me... but there are some textures I don't care for EVEN THOUGH I like the food. That's weird, isn't it?
I don't like the texture of a peach.... but the taste is fine - not one of my favorites but it's ok.
I'm getting better with 'fat'... I'm not getting better with gristle. I can NOT get down even a trace of gristle. Most if not all of the 'old timers' I remember would it a steak to the bone no matter how much fat and gristle was on it. Never been able to do that, myself... and never will be able too. - JamesJM
