No, I didn't go out of my way to 'not' watch it. 
As I said, I intended too... while it was running I was hearing great things about it... I just never got around to it.
Other things... I read a lot. Grandkid activities..... mostly sports. Today I am actually watching more TV than I have in years... a slow, very slow, change of habits.
To a lesser degree I did the same with movies, or going to a movie theater.
I really do like reading, even though today I'm doing less of that as well. But in the 70's, 80's, 90's, there was never a moment when I was not into a novel, sometimes reading a couple novels a week... perhaps 3 if they were of the 'short genre'... like Agatha Christie mysteries, Louis L' Amour westerns, etc. I read fiction, non-fiction, you name it. I was a bit 'late' in reading the classics, however...and to my chagrin, but eventually I did get around to them. - JamesJM
