to buy decent Elton John tickets next June in Dallas for my wife.. her number 1 bucket list item was seeing EJ live, so I guess we're headed to it, now.. SCALPED out the wazoo.. I got stung for $1400 for two decent tix.. front row tix are still available in the $14K-15K range PER TICKET.. no, not kidding..
Then again, her number 2 bucket list item was sky diving and I got her a gift certificate for two sky dives in Dallas back in September - which she still hasn't used.. but, we're DEFINITELY using these EJ tix..
And yes, I bought them scalped directly from ticketmaster - the biggest rip off in the history of mankind.. But its his farewell tour, so now or never.. of course I can name 5 bands that have done farewell tours that followed up with 3-4 more tours..
