Florida / FSU is a HUGE rival game every year. Last home game of the year in The Swamp this year. With my oldest Navy bound in the near future, I wanted to make sure we go. I bought 4 tickets (Me, Wife and my two boys) We made an early start by driving South of Gainseville to eat a late lunch at Fat Boys BBQ in Ocala. Made the scenic drive from Ocala to Gainesville. We tailgated for just over an hour, It was about 6:40. Time to make the walk to the stadium for the 7:30 start. The SECOND I told my Wife to grab the tickets out of the glove box.........IT HIT ME LIKE A PUNCH IN THE GUT!!! I had brought only THREE tickets!! I was not gonna have my Wife stay at the car. I certainly wanted my boys to see the game, especially my oldest and I did not have enough cash to pay for the going price of a scalped ticket (Oddly, VERY few were selling tickets) SOOOOOOOOO, I walked back to the car and listened to the radio. I will say, it was interesting HEARING the crowd from almost 2 miles away, while sitting in the car. Of ALLLLLLLLLLLL the games I have been to, I wait for the FSU game to do that??????? UUUUGH!!!!!
