I'm off on a tangent here.
When my son first left home to live in Fresno and start college he moved into an apartment with a couple of friends. My wife was distraught, him being away... and yeah, me as well.
Come Christmas time and we go into Fresno to visit him... walk in and there, on a table, is a "Charlie Brown Christmas Tree"... meaning maybe 2' high, perhaps 3 branches...mostly bare. One bulb. You would have thought my wife had been shot through the heart. To this day we can't tell that story in my house; my wife will burst into tears and run into her bedroom to weep uncontrollably for a few hours.
Ok.. Christmas episodes. Like those you picked, a lot. One of my favorites was a Cheer's episode.... in the episode "It's A Wonderful Life" is coming on TV and everyone in the bar starts complaining.. "Oh God not again. Don't people ever get tired of this. Can we watch something else?".... the scene does a time dissolve to the end of the movie and everyone in the bar is in tears.
