a Midget....nice little car, 4 speed and those "cute" 3 windshield wipers......not much go, but fun to drive in the curvy WV roads where we lived. British Blue or something like that, real wood dash....those little doors.....put your arm out the window and your fingers almost touch the ground. Look up at Bicycles.....
Had another friend who drove a beat up, rusted out Datsun . he put in a Craig quad tape player....yes the great 8 track and mated that to 2 house speakers and a couple mini for the front dash.(the system was worth 2x what he gave for the car...and the resale of the car was predicated on the system staying with it when sold). We'd drive the backroads of WV, I'd be looking down at my feet looking at the road pass below me listening to things like Floyds' Meddle album smoking up the cabin asking him to slow down (he'd be going like 20 MPH)....Oh those mentally disturbed days are gone, but still brings a smile every now and then.
We finally grew up and became respectable...or a close facsimile anyway.....Kinda funny when you enter the real world of bills, obligations how your hobbies are oriented into other areas.
